  1. I have the DUO with the Superstock ROM (http://www.modaco.com/topic/359366-rom-superstock-build-1/, root etc), and have bought CoPilot Live Europe thanks to the News article here. Now the CoPilot maps for the whole of Europe are 2.0 GB, and unfortunately the program will not write to the external SD-card, but only to the internal memory of 1.6 GB. Yep, too small. Also, Link2SD will only move apps to there, not to the external SD-card. After some searching I found several topics on the web suggesting editing vfold.stab to swap the two (like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716166 and http://blog.t-kstore.com/how-to-make-microsd-sd-card-as-phone-storage-in-mtk-6573-mtk-6575-mtk6577-phones/), have done that, but that doesn't change anything. Mounts2SD and S2e don't help either. Any thoughts on how these can be swapped? I have looked in the Ascend G300 section as well, as the "problem" is there as well, but no fun so far. Any help would be appreciated :)
  2. SD Card and Rebooting Issues

Try it without the SD-card, or with another SD-card. I don't have the problems you describe, and you may have a unit going down.
  3. Solved it. I guess the ROM used does not have init.d scripting enabled by default. After I enabled init.d scripting with the app in this XDA-topic and verified it to be enabled, then suddenly the two drives were swapped and I have the space needed for my apps and data, with many more GB available :)
  4. Thanks :) Forgot to say I tried that one, and that actually refused to install, and after trying this, both the SD-card and internal storage were gone...
  5. CoPilot Live Premium UK + IRE only £14.99!

Thanks for the tip, have bought the Europe edition for £24.99 :)
  6. Battery & wifi issues

Ok, but that is not something everybody uses and hence I don't see that as vitall. Annoying, yes, but only a dealbreaker for some.
  7. Battery & wifi issues

What do you call "vital functions" that do not work? The phone, both SIMs work, 3G on either SIM, screen, Android, WIFI etc. I dislike some of the choices made (like the ON-OFF button), but it works fine for me.
  8. Battery & wifi issues

You probably have a defective handset. Mine works fine with battery (usually 2 days) en WiFi.
  9. [Rom] SUPERSTOCK BUILD #1

I first had the same problem with busybox and the installer, and even the tip from albe.minimal didn't help. Then I noticed the small superuser symbol just below the run-button, pressed that to run as "su", and then the scripts worked fine! :)
  10. [Rom] SUPERSTOCK BUILD #1

Looks good, will try it during this week :) Can you indicate what the difference is with the other ROMs?
  11. READ! Need help ASAP!

Firstly, this is not a helpdesk, so these kind of screaming topictitles and impatient posts like this won't help. Have you tried to connect via Fastboot or push Clockworkmod as described in the sticky?
  12. I am interested in doing this, but the description is too brief for a non-expert :) When you say decompress, is that by copying it to the phone, or via adb, or?
  13. Huawei Ascend G300 unlock

I paid £4.79 with unlock_fusion on Ebay, and this worked quickly and nicely as well. So there is more than specialize :)
  14. Mobistar Belgium. But don't expect to find it in a Dutch shop, or cheap if you don't want to go abroad.
  15. Blackberry mains charger ?

I am using all kinds of different micro-USB chargers with my OSF, including a charger from my Blackberry 9780. No problem, works fine.
  16. They don't. All OSFs have 150 Mb RAM available for apps, unless a custom ROM is installed.
  17. There is 512 MB total RAM, but only 150 MB available in the stock ROM after loading of the Android operating system and applications.
  18. Titanium Backup. This same question has now been asked so often...
  19. Led Notification

NoLED is however only suitable for OLED screens, otherwise it will drain the battery because the screen needs to be continuously on. An alternative for LCD screens is Flashnotify.
  20. Wrong topic for this, but your conclusions are not based on anything; this seems to be a user error, at least with regard to the conclusion. One phone, a new user and Android is junk?
  21. This is a forum for the ZTE Blade. Of course it won't work for a SE Experia, as this is not a ZTE Blade... Only solution: dye your hair
  22. Many versions out in different countries; Sweden, Finland, France, Hungary, Austria etc. See the forumsearch for more information.
  23. None of these ship outside the UK. So no use trying that, if you want one you have to go to one of the countries selling the Blade, or go on eBay.
  24. Problem free Blade

I have now bought 9 OSF's (most for others, both OLED and TFT), of which 2 had problems (both TFT), but were exchanged for ones that work fine (one TFT, one OLED). Yes, the chassis is squeaking on my own one (one of the early OLEDs), but it works fine and already has had most of the ROMs published here...
  25. Have had r11 on my OLED OSF for a few days, on a 128 MB /system partition and A2SD on a 8GB class 6 SDHC card. Feels smooth and looks good. The only thing I noticed is that the WiFi is still flaky, especially with the new Linksys WRT160NL router at my parents house. Even installing Wifi KeepAlive and BladeWifiFix did not really help, many disconnects. Although mostly reconnecting after a bit of time, it is still poor compared to my HTC Desire. I am considering to go back to the standard setting (disconnect with screen off) rather than always on Wifi.
