I bought the phone from Tesco and bought an bought the unlock code from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111223239973

It took about twenty minutes to get the email with the unlock number. I entered it and it worked first time.

If you converted the phone to GEN2 when you installed CM you should re-calibrate your battery. - http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...bration-protip/

My battery was going in hours when I first installed CM7. Re-calibrated and was back to days.

    Thanks for this Paul.

I now can sync files from my server wirelessly.
I tried the rsync app directly but it kept hanging. Now I can mount the samba share and rsync this.

Didn't have to unlock for new sim
I have TFT San Francisco running Paul's alpha 3.

I took my Asda Mobile sim out of my old phone and put it in the the SF and the phone booted without needing to use the unlock code.
I had to sign in to Google again but that was all, making and receiving calls works.

How come I didn't have to use the unlock code?

    Thanks

  8. oe79 added a post in a topic Anyone use Quidco to get their San Fran?

£12 showed as tracked a few minutes after I'd bought it.

It hasn't been validated yet, but it's been less than two weeks.

    Thanks neologan.

I can't believe they are still getting away with this. I would have thought it would have become a bigger story.

There should be a campaign to end it.

Does anyone know if Apple does this with the iPhone?

Can anyone else comment on Grooveshark?

I would be using wifi almost exclusively and would rarely if ever use shuffle.

  12. oe79 added a post in a topic [ROM] 31/Jan r9: de-orangeated ROM for ZTE Blade / Orange San Francisco [eclair] [OLED+TFT]

Gah! I wish I had read this before I rooted with Superboot!

I thought this was the first step before installing Clockwork.
It gave my phone a dark blue tint, making it very hard to see screen.
I flashed Clockwork and the tint remained.
Installing de-orangeated fixed it though thankfully.

Your reply could have saved me an 'oh ____!' moment though. :(
