  1. Website Update - Monday 11th July 2011

To note - I opened that Lightbox image a few posts above, but couldn't scroll right to see the rest of the image. If you remove overflow-x: hidden; from body{} in the CSS, it resolves that, and allows horizontal scrolling again, BUT it also has horizontal scrolling when it's not necessary (something to do with negative margins on the sidebar)

I'm a huge fan of IPB 3.1 (I use it massively), but this skin doesn't feel as clean as the other one did. Still, good work.
  3. Will Hr7 be out today at some point? As much as I love the Prime ROM, I want to get back onto the WW SKU asap. :D
  4. I have a fairly good idea on how to do it, but I'll ask anyway...... To install this, I need to root using the 'v5' blob with CWM etc, then download and flash this? To restore back to stock, I need to use a stock blob, revert to stock recovery, and then flash a stock firmware file? Thanks. I may be taking the device back for a replacement soon, so need a way to go back to stock if necessary
  5. I don't think it's normal... but it certainly seems to be a pattern. Both the iPad and the iPad 2 had noticeable light bleed on some units, and they use the same type of IPS panel as the Transformer.
  6. Presumably gingerbreakBB, su and SuperUser.apk - I don't quite know yet.
  7. Right - found it I think: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...mp;postcount=29 Replacing the blob from this .zip file with the one included in the root, and re-performing the steps will return to stock recovery, with 'secure' boot - all I would have to do then is remove the root files, and format data - and I'd be totally back to stock, getting OTA updates? I'm only asking because I may end up RMA'ing this unit for light bleed I also know that at some point - someone else with wonder.
  8. Just searched XDA and can't find anything for quite a few search terms, even though I know I've seen it! Any chance of posting a link?
  9. If we do this, is there a "way back" to Stock should the need ever arise?
  10. Do you know if there is any progress on getting root if you've already applied the OTA?
  11. Its certainly not as good as my Nexus One. Lets hope this is a software rather than hardware issue.....
  12. Same here... I think it was £5 - can't quite be sure. Now all we need is a screen protector, the keyboard dock and a good non-dock stand! Hopefully some things will start popping up.
  13. Still awaiting a reply back.... if I'm still waiting tomorrow, will send off another email. Is bank transfer the only method of payment. Never done it before, so it'll be an experience.....
  14. Yeah.... every now and again. I think its more likely to happen when its been 'sleeping' for longer.
  15. USB charging doesn't seem to work too well, even on a Mac. Last night I kept it plugged into my iMac, and it increased about 12%... I'm wondering if there is something in the wall adaptor that allows 'fast charging', or if it is something in the kernal restricting it.
