take a look in the nexus 7 forum on xda. They have released the code there for the nexus 7 which was not meant to work with otg either. It may help you guys. http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1934722 Also didn't some guy have otg working months ago for this? I'm sure he released the workaround then pulled it for reasons unknown to me.
  2. the orange San Diego is another possible option, now dropped in price
  3. Hey, at least I tried to help him. Should I not bother?
  4. ROM ToolBox Pro

Or a quick Google found this. Read it but don't install anything off it. You did search before asking right? http://androidforums.com/galaxy-s2-international-all-things-root/508027-my-zipalign-restore-script.html
  5. ROM ToolBox Pro

click on edit to see what the script does.Looks like it needs busy box. Its worth spending time browsing through rom toolbox. Its a very powerful all in one tool with many options. if busybox [ -z "$( busybox which zipalign )" ]; then echo "Error: zipalign binary missing." exit 1 if you need busybox, do a search on modaco.

  7. App may not be compatible with cm10 yet. Hard to tie down unless you want to go playing with the phone for a couple of hours. Let us know how you get on with renaming an mp3.I'm not sure whether permissions on the MP3 may need changing.
  8. [B934] google search bar

Can you post a screenshot please? Press power button and volume down for a few seconds until it captures a screenshot
  9. You get the option to choose those apps as they are highely likely to contain their own tones for use in the app. Android sees them and gives you the option to use them.
  10. Im thinking it may be a bug. The build prop would say use xxxxxxxxx as stock ringtone and then your setting a different file. Did you use an app to change to an mp3 ringtone? App bug possible? Im not sure if the buildprop would change to reflect your use of mp3 files but I always suspected it was the use of mp3's causing the issue. Anyway glad your sorted out. Android sound tones are .ogg files right? I wonder would renaming the mp3 ringtone to say Thriller.ogg for example fix it? It may need moving to the ringtone file location in system also. Not too much work to try really, just backup before hand.
  11. But I didn't recommend anything, I answered his question on how he would flash a stock rom, not a repack of a stock rom. If Vodafone would accept a repack in a warranty return then I see your point but they won't so stock is an update.app and a repack is based on stock. I answered the question as it was asked, not as I presumed it was asked.
  12. Well you were using music ringtone as in mp3 ringtones if I recall. Something could have gone wrong there. I would try a clean install. if it doesn't fix it, you still have your nandroid. Yes the nandroid would copy the problem so nandroid restore would put up back to square one. Clean flash, normal ringtone and try from there.
  13. Pants Antutu benchmarks on G300

Is that test on the exact same rom Cyda? No changes to the rom?
  14. Cyda, there is no mention of a repack in the original question hence my comment. If he had stated repack, I wouldn't have answered as that would have been covered by the second post.
  15. You will have to force flash it. Cwm zips and update.apps are totally different.
