I finally managed to install the Smart Tools app from a downloaded apk, although Play Store says it's not compatible with my device. On first start of the program I got an error message "no magnetic sensor detected", but the app works. When I installed it on luca's KK roms the app installs without problems from market and gives no error message. Anyway, my problem is solved, funny enough, with a pirated apk although I am a legal owner, and I am very happy with AOSP, which I think has the best overall performance with everything working for daily use.

Yes, that's the app, https://play.google....d=kr.aboy.tools . Perhaps it is not the Android version but the Y300, because I could install the app on 4.1.1 before, but with roms for G510.

Hi H3ros, thank you for this excellent rom. I just have one problem, I can't install Smart Tools app, as Play Store considers it is not compatible with my device, although it installs with other roms, for example with luca's carbon kk rom. Is there any fix for that? Thanks again.

Yes, I did all wipes and everything was working fine for days until I changed to 200 dpi. Anyway staying with 240 dpi is also ok for me. Thank you!

Thank you for your reply H3ROS, I reverted to 240 dpi and everything is fine again. I don't know what the reason of the error was, because I never flashed the older music app but left the Rom as is and installed Poweramp as alternative player.  And the FC happened on systemstartup and also opening poweramp.

Hi H3ROS, I've tried to change the resolution to 200 dpi in build.prop, but I've got android.process.media FC. Could you give me a hint on how to fix the problem or is'nt it possible to change dpi? For the battery percentage, maybe somebody would like to test 360 Mobile Security, which is a highly recommendable security app, which besides protecting the phone using very little ram, puts a battery percentage icon on the right side of the screen.

This rom is a masterwork and reason enough to stay another couple of years on gingerbread. Thank you very much for your excellent work!

I am also thinking to buy it, it has excellent reviews. The only negative point seems to be the camera. The Aquaris is made in Spain, I think there are no export fees to Portugal from Spain...

  12. Janfri added a post in a topic [ROM] Inovative Creations for ZTE Skate (based on Skatie Custom ROM)

I am a proud owner of a legal copy of ADW launcher and as I said above I also was using H3blues with this launcher and also recommended H3ros month ago to implement it in his ROM. For me the advantage of this launcher is that dock and statusbar are hideable and screens and widgets are resizable. I have to admit that before buying the paid version y downloaded the app illegally, because I have paid for a bunch of apps, some of them expensive, like SPB Shell 3D, for example, which I uninstalled after first use. I also own several apps which have not been updated since a couple of years or whose dev disappeared after selling his first version and never returned. I also own apps which where sold to bigger companies, who renamed the product and do not give me any updates for my paid copy. I am sure that some users of Inovative Creations will buy ADW in the future and I think that there is no damage for their developer team if somebody uses an outdated version of their software for a rom which does not generate any commercial benefit. For the rest I have to repeat that from my user point of view I only want to use the rom which fits my needs, if it is fast, if battery lasts and if all components work. I am not much interested in if it is perfectly optimized or programmed from the point of view of an expert developer. Maybe Marko is a bad programmer, but he does wonders, he makes my batter last 3 times longer than I could ever achieve con my beloved H3blues rom which I have been using for a year. Maybe Marko's rom is full of programming errors, so maybe this rom is so bloody fast by mistake. For me as a user it's the same, I love it.

Don't argue about something that should make everybody happy. I am not a dev, but a simple user and what I clearly notice is what I said this morning, Skatie with Inovative Crations is way faster than Skatie alone, H3Blues and any other rom I have tested. And I can say this without benchmarks because it is very noticeable, it is much faster, without lags. It wakes up immediately, the dialer and app launcher open immediately... And battery life is impressing, I have still 56% left after more or less 30 hours and with other Roms I often had to recharge twice a day or found the battery empty in the morning. At least for the users it would be positive if the devs worked together and instead of arguing perhaps you could make the perfect rom together and call it Nitroblues Creations...Thanks all the devs for their good work!

Ok, sorry, but the battery drain is amazingly low really, even without underclocking the minimum cpu speed. I have tested Skatie long time ago and also installed many of the other roms existing on the forum, but I never had such a long lasting battery. My favorite for a long time was H3Blues, which I lately used with Nitroglass and ADW launcher and I was very happy with that configuration. But Inovative Creations is much faster and the battery lasts much longer, so there must be other tweaks and modifications, which maybe could be implemented in other roms to speed them up. (As I write this, my battery is still 76%, so it dropped 2%since my last post.)
