  1. No, it doesn't give your location. The thing is that something happens with this phone and Wi-fi in Spain because the problem was general in Spain and phones were sent back to VF and changed for another new phone for lot of people but the same problem where present in the new phone too. But I have not see any comment about wi-fi problems in UK or other country. Regards.
  2. Lot of people complained about this kind of wifi problems in Spain and Vodafone/ZTE after a lot of time recononized the problem and worked on it. The result of that was the Spanish's ES _MR01d_2 firmware that solved the problem. I don't know if the problem was the same becuase here in Spain was something general not just a cuple of persons, and I have not see many people complain about wi-fi isues in this forum. Regards.
  3. As far as only boot and system are flashed radio, modem and so on won't be affected, battery life will be better compared with stock. Regards.
  4. No, you won't. You need TWRP to flash this ROM and you need root to install TWRP. Maybe your phone is one of the Write protected system, so you need to follow this topic. http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/375680-guide-testedhow-to-get-reliable-root-and-twrp-on-su6-that-is-problematic/ Regards.
  5. It happened to me too a cuple of times when I had to force power off by holding power button, is like the phone is booting/working but the screen is not. Soonner or latter it will boot, is not bricked.
  6. If you are rooted, try any app from Google Play that allow you to choose how you want to reboot, then you will know if really it doesn't boot on recovery or you are doing something wrong with the keys. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.londatiga.android.anreboot&hl=es Regards.
  7. Yes, this is the last ROM ZTE have released for this phone, I don't now the diferences with UK but in Spain it solved a problem with WI-fi conectión and most of the people found better battery life. Regards.
  8. New "LITE" version based on the latest ES_MR01d_2. See first post for more info. Regards.
  9. http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/375788-vodafone-smart-ultra-6-stock-roms-otas-and-recoveries/ Download the ROM corresponding to your Phone/Country. Inside the zip you'll download, there are the instruccions and the update.zip file. Read the instruccions that basically says you have to copy the update.zip file in your SD Card and chose the optión (install update.zip or apply update, sorry but I have TWRP no stock recovery) in the recovery menu. Regards,
  10. Must be three lines. I can't find any diference if I revert the coment lines after install xposed or I I leave them comented. Regards
  11. Right now I'm ussing xposed with the edited build.prop. I could not say that it doesn't lag the phone but I can notice the diference. This morning I had to uninstall xposed v24 becasuse the phone sometimes where almost unussable, but now it works like if not xposed installed. I will revert the commented lines in build.prop and I'll see the diference. Thank you for the information.
  12. If root lag your phone and TWRP lag your phone....... No surprise if you add xposed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62871742&postcount=1020 This guy edited de lines but once installed and rebooted xposed went back to build.prop ("Revert the commenting in build.prop.") http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60773276&postcount=1824 But the other guy mentioned in the post, is supposed to left the edited build.prop Have you tried both ways? Regards.

  14. New stock full ROM and OTA for Spain. The new full ROM (update.zip) ES_MR01d_2 http://www.ztedevice.com/support/e087adde-5d87-4d34-a50d-ceaba1813e0d.html?type=software OTA ES_02c > ES_MR01d_2 http://dl1.ztems.com:80/zxmdmp/download.do?doWhat=getUp&filename=firmwarepackages/HK/ZTE/Vodafone Smart ultra 6/109458/update_ES_VDF_P839V55V1.0.0B13_to_V1.0.0B07.up As soon as I download the full Rom I will provide the files to have the stock recovery too. Thank you in advance.
  15. Because even you are root, system is still R/W protected, you can only modify system files through TWRP. Flashing zip files (that's the reason root is permanent) or using TWRP file manager. Regards.
