Hoping for help; out of service/

Hi all,

First off, thank you for you continued work and advice. This place is a goldmine of information.

I've got an issue which I cannot find a solution for despite searching for days and re-rooting...

So, I have an original ZTE Blade which I've recently returned to. I originally had a T-Mobile sim in and was living abroad for a while. The last time I used it, in Italy, it worked fine. Since getting back to the UK I have changed to a Virgin monthly rolling contract. Originally, I had this in a BB, but then that died and I've been trying to use the Blade again. I cannot get texts or calls to work but I can use data services with wifi switched off. So, I have re-rooted and put Swedish Snow RLS7 on as a more up to date rom and I still get the same issues. I've gone through the settings and can't seem to identify what is amiss.

when I try an emergency call it says out of service
when I try a standard call it says mobile network not available

Am I doing something fundamentally wrong or is this a hardware death?

Downgrade from b952.

Hey guys. I bought a Huawei Ascend G300 from Vodafone RO in october with gb on it. I liked it from the start (maybe because is my first android phone i got) even if it had some issues with the sound. Anyway, I read somewhere that the next update at that time will solve it. I updated it and i was very happy with my phone until ics update came out. I made the big mistake to update it. At first it was ok, it looked alot better with ics, but after some time i realized that it was getting slower every day. Another update came out (B952) and I hoped that it will solve this problem. It didn't... Now i have a phone that i'm starting to hate because it is so slow and this problem is because of the low amount of free RAM I have. I know there's an official downgrade to GB but only works on B936. So help me get this phone in a stage that can still make me happy. I have to mention that it isn't rooted. I haven't decided to do it yet because of the warranty.

Summary: Huawei Ascend G300 non-rooted with b952. Need to downgrade it.

Any official way? i looked everywhere and couldn't find any.

Help me please with some links about:
-how to downgrade officially to gb (If i send it to warranty will they be able to downgrade it?)

OR

-how to root it
-how to install stock gb (or some other custom rom that you really like and works good on this)

HTC have just announced the Desire 600, a dual SIM, quad core, Sense 5 equipped mid-range handset featuring Blinkfeed and BoomSound (but no Ultrapixels), to be released in Russia, Ukraine and MEA (Middle East / Asia).

Forfeiting the HTC One's Ultrapixel camera for a 8MP conventional snapper, the device has a 4.5" qHD SLCD 2 screen and a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad core processor. An 1860mAH battery (removable) powers the device, which features 8GB onboard storage and a microSD slot. Given that the device doesn't include LTE, battery life should be pretty good!

The device will be available in the markets above from June 2013.

I think it looks pretty good myself... it'll be interested to see the price. I assume it's not coming to Europe as it would encroach on the forthcoming 'HTC One Mini', aka the M4.

hi, i am on lighting rom(based on 952), and after i enter the imei/sn and product id on huawei unlock bootloader site it shows me an error about incorrect data, i double checked everything and still the same problem.what you recommend? 10x

Now my G300 is working again since the release of the official Australia ICS I can run some of them.

I've had a good look, but I can't find a thread that compares the pros and cons of each. For the time being I'm running CM9, but I miss the CM7 power toggles widget.

If anyone recalls such a thread, maybe you could point me to it?

If not, what ROM are you using and what do you like/dislike about it?

I have an htc one x but I don't know if is tegra 3 or qualcomm.The phone don't want to start just stay on htc logo. Anyone can give me some adivices. I have a little bit eperince with android, cwm, flashing roms but not with htc,Thanks in advance

Problem with unlock

Hi friends, I'm Victor from Spain, sorry for my english, I will tri to explain my problem.

Today I try to unlock my zte skate, I install codecs and then install install-recovery-windows.bat, all correct. Then I take out the batery and disconect usb, press vol down + power since appears FTM on the display, then I run the program for unlock and runs ok, press start and wait to finsh.
Then I put the batery and try to turn on, and the display appears like this.
Any idea please.
