jive:
i am in the same boat as nickp.....can you try to setup as bluetooth modem...i also was able to do this on another phone(MOTOV600) but can't get it working on mpx220...to complicate matters, i ultimately want to be able to connect to isp(earthlink) ...i know it is slower but more importantly cheaper...min instead of kb...

QUOTE(nickp @ Jan 5 2005, 21:32)
Nice !!  Do you have any idea how to set up my iPAQ 4705 to use the 220 as a BT modem on T-Mobile ??  I had it working with my RAZR and any other phone, using just the *99#, but for some reason the 220 does not like it.  Oh Yea.....I can access the web using explorer and get my POP e-mail on the phone.  It just seems like a setting on the iPAQ dialing sequence.

Thanks,
np

sry to dig up old posts.. but i FINALLY got arround to trying this out.

seems that cingular doesnt support CSD any longer, most likely so people wont do what im attempting to do.

shitty.  oh well. if anyone else has any other ideas.. im all ears

no bother to me.....i have not gotten it working yet either.....are you sure about cingular not supporting csd.... i think someone misinformed you ..... i was told they don't fully support the mpx220 yet but the csd feature/service still exists or none of the phones would work even stand alone....keep tryin' and postin'....it's got to be possible....with my 1.3 fw phone i can now bluetooth dial from within outlook/contacts....... .342 wouldn't even do that consistently..... i am beginning to think it is a com/port setting from the ppc connection manager settings that needs to be changed......

i have that on my account .... i have done this in the past with v600 and ipaq ppc 2215.....just can't get it to work with mpx220.....
MCHALE are you using laptop or ppc... i am starting to wonder if ppc is lacking a driver or something that comes standard in most laptop bluetooth wizard or if it is the phone or both....
