It also seems abit odd, but the volume level in Media Player also effects the sound levels. I have Snow Patrol - run as a ring tone, wma converted from mp3.

I push the sound up to max for the phone, but it was still kinda.... quiet for a ringtone. I went into media player and pushed the sound to max, the ringtone volume also increased.

Weird..... unless the phone uses media player to player the ringtone when the phone rings.

I think, phones are sent to Orange resellers/dealers and Retail outlets from their distrubution warehouses.

1stop will still say awaiting delivery, as they have not yet hit their warehouse yet. Hopefully this will happen sometime this week/early part next week.

I phoned onestopphoneshop on Saturday, as they cancelled my order for one. Said my debit card wasn't registered to my home addesss ???

Anyway, I put the question about stock levels. A not very helpful bloke in CS, who was neither polite or customer service savvy, said Monday they would have stock.

When I asked "Which Monday", he just said monday.

I've tried to do this 25 times now, still no joy. I edit the file. Erase the IPSM. Replace the SPV into the Cradle on the switching to the Blue startup screen.

I copy the xml file to windows directory, when hearing the activesync connection

The bloody thing keeps displaying the homescreen before showing me the windows directory. Then copies the xml file.

Reset the phone, xml date has changed back. I've tried all ways.

Oh and there is a card in the slot due this...

anyone?

Thanks Paul

I have copied the spManager file to my SD Card and located it using All Explorer. It runs.

But it runs the Remote software as a process not an App. I killed the process, but it's a bit of run around to do it.

Anyone know how to unload the app from the spv once you've finished. I do not mean uninstall. The app seems to stay running, despite closing the app on the PC.

Sorry for being dumb. I have installed the app, located the file on my SPV using all-explorer and executed it.

I have loaded the PC APP, I have an active ActiveSync connection. Still does not work? :?:

I tried a ringtone in mid format, I have also tried to stream using windowsmedia.com (asf) files. I used to be able to do it. So it must be a setting I have on the phone.

I've recreated the m$ msn screen above, but without the background image and colours.

Have a look and let me know what you think.

unzip the files and put into IPSMApplication DataHome
