I won a HTC Touch at a recent Microsoft event. It’s a fantastic pocket PC but yesterday I put it in my pocket (inside its protective pouch) and when I took it back out the LCD was broken! There appears to be a fine black line through the screen with a black blob on it. The rest of the screen just lights up ‘white’ when the device is on. It seems to be just the LCD that is damaged but I can’t for the life of me work out how it happened. I didn’t drop it or bang into anything. It just seemed to brake so easily!

Has anyone else had this problem? I’ve done some digging and there seems to be plenty of companies out there that repair LCD screens. I found this particular one http://www.mobilephonerepairs.co.uk. Has anyone used it or can anyone recommend a good repair company in the UK?

The best way ever to remove the logos from C500 + I-mate Jam, T-mobile MDA Compact and so on, IS indeed the sugarcube trick, just frame in the logo with normal tape, and then gently rub the sugarcube back and forth, until the logo has gone - an all without a trace!!!! WORKS!
