Okay, the thing is that I was removing stuff that I considered to be "extra" on my phone (some readmes, etc, etc) at the end phone works just fine except now I can't open any .cab file that I put in my phone. Nothing happens when I press on them. What could I screw up? Is there a way to make it work again? Thanks |

What's wrong with that? Illegal? I don't think so. After trying to find some ROMs on HTC page, forum and even owners club I realized that HTC is not intersted in providing any, so only thing I can do is to ask here...... If someone knows, please PM me. Thanks |

Man, that just sucks badly. Did it went off right away when you dropped it? Or did it work while it was in the glass? |

Hello, I have been using my VOX for over six months already and since I have tried many things on that phone I assume it is time to upgrade my ROM. Not only because I am hoping to see some improvements in a new ROM, but also because I want to "delete everything" and start all again. I have installed and removed many programs and somehow I think it slowed down my VOX. My VOX was bought direcly from HTC, and my ROM version is: 5.2.1235.17740 >> same number for Operator, Manufacturer, Microsoft, Language and File System. Radio version is: 4.1.13.37_02.83.90 , RIL Version 2.002 I am just wondering, where can I download newer version for HTC (not Orange E650 or other) ? Thanks |

Chtěl bych se zeptat, zda nevíte o nějakém místě v Praze, kde by se dal koupit nějakej přípravej, kterej dokáže odstranit škrábance z obrazovky. Mám HTC S710. Díky. |

Thanks for your video. So basically, can anything bad happen to the phone if I overclock it? I mean, it is like chiptuning for cars, you can do it, but something gets worse. |

Just switched from Nokia N73 to VOX. I tell you, never get a Symbian phone, everytime I get it, I feel dissapointed..... It is slow, no wi/fi, no user friendly, not good programs and is good smartphone more likely for begginers.... Get VOX. It is awesome. |

Another question here. It worked all fine, thanks for that. But, there is this list menu, but on the white wallpaper. I know that smartphones with list view have different wallpapers, can I change it somehow, with white wallpaper it looks kind of ugly. |

Hi guys, I just sold my awful Nokia N73 and got myself VOX. Incredible little device I think, I absolutely adore it. But anyways, even though I am not a total newbie (Used to have Orange SPV, Orange SPV 3, Qtek E8020, HTC Tanager and even MPX200)...... I still have a few questions. 1. What all software is MUST for this device? I know I know, there is a topic, but those programs are not that important, I mean a must, like best MP3 Player, best video player, best planner and anything..... 2. What is the best site to download applications? 3. What is the best site to download themes? Thanks and have a nice day. |

First thing - it is against the s/ware lisence to sell TomTom under any circumstances and I would be surprised if most of the other items allow the owner to sell the s/ware without supplying the original cabs and signing over the license. Having said that: ProfiExplorer and Smart Explorer and Total Commander are all replacements for the built in File Manager and come with other programs when bought - which you use is up to you. ProfiMail is an improved mail client Papyrus is am improved calender app TCPMP is an improved media player TomTom is GPS (you need a BT GPS receiver) The rest are fairly self explanatory - but if you don't have the orriginal cab files and the person who sold the phone to you hasn't transfered the licenses to you then you should do a hard reset and wipe them all! Thanks. I am gonna delete them all right now. |

Hi folks! First of all I would like to say, I am not a newbie even though I've posted that in TOPIC TITLE. I've been around this whole modaco thing for a very long time and this wonderful place is like a growing kid in my view. First time something called smartphone appeared, Qtek E7070, HTC Tanager, I was freaked out! It was just stuning! I got it and came here to modaco, then sold it, got MPX200, then qtek 8080, then qtek 8010.....then I sold it and left. Now I just got myself Qtek 8310 and I am amazed on how much better that thing is than all older SmartPhones......after a long pause I am back. Here, and happy about it. Now enough BS and lets ask you some questions: Well, where to start, I've bought this phone already fully loaded with many programs and ex-owner told me not to hard reset, since it will be very difficult to get all these programs again. Here is the list of programs I currently have, but still have no idea whats their MAIN purpose, because sometimes I have many programs that seem to do same thing. Please, can someone define the difference between similar programs or purpose of some programs? Thanks, and here is the list: 1) Comm Manager 2) Contacts Navigation 3) DocLock 4) DontForget Admin 5) File Manager 6) Fizz Traveller 2 7) MIDlet Manager 8) Papyrus 9) ProfiExplorer 10) ProfiMail 11) RJV SendContact 12) Smart Explorer EN 13) SP Task Mgr EN 14) SP TM Free Mem 15) SplashID 16) TCPMP 17) TomTom Mobile 18) Total Commander 19) PocketTV And last thing, is there something that is a MUST for ALL SmartPhone users....? Thanks |
