Hey, thanks for the unlocking software...but I have a little problem. Even though the phone is unlocked, and I am able to access T-Mobile network, I can't manage the contacts on the SIM or save new phone # to my SIM card. Anyone having this problem, please post your comments. Thanks! |

QUOTE(awarner [MVP) ,May 9 2005, 22:04]This could be down to the ROM you have now insstalled, as there are no official ROMs for the MPX200 it's possible that you have one of the hacked versions of 2002 and this can lead to other problems. Well, I purchased the 2002 firmware So that must be illegal as well? |

Can someone here help me out? I've reinstalled Smartphone 2002 firmware. I really like it, but there's only one problem. When I play .mpeg file with PocketTV on Smartphone 2002, it's alots slower (0-14fps) rather than 29fps on 2003. Does anyone having this issue? Please help me out, Thank you, Cason |

QUOTE(awarner [MVP) ,Apr 19 2005, 12:09]As you have installed an ilegal unsupported ROM to your phone the problem is possibly caused by the way the game install has been made. They probably have not accounted for the IPSM or on most 2003 phones Storage being renamed to Mounted Volume. There is also a chance that Omnisoft may not help if it requires them to alter their game to support ilegal software. Thank you for your reply, Administrator awarner. One of OmniSoft representatives responded to me that he has tested on an MPx200 Windows Powered Smartphone 2003 version 4.20.0 (Build 13291) and the games worked fine. Mine is a little bit different. The following is my phone's description. Microsoft® Windows® Powered Smartphone 2003 Version 4.20.0 (Build 13349) Radio Version 1.00 © 1996-2003 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Available Storage: 5.20 MB Total Storage: 8.18 MB Available Memory: 11.66 MB Total Memory: 17.66 MB Processor: ARM OMAP 710 ROM update versions: Operator: 4.20.13349.0 Manufacturer: 3.70.23.0 Microsoft: 4.20.13349.0 Language: 4.20.13349.0 File System: 4.20.13349.0 In the System Information, Device Info. Maker: Motorola, Inc. Processor: StrongARM O.S.: Windows CE Version: 4.200 (Build 0) *not 13349* I downloaded this ROM from a good source website (from MoDaCo, I think). The Rom is in English version, not the hacked German version. But I think you are corrected because most games probably only recognize the SD card as a Storage, not Mounted Volume. Oh, what am I going to do? I seriously don't want to go back to 2002. WM2003 is very faster and eliminate all the uneccessary queues when running a program. *sigh* Thanks again, Admin. I hope to hear more replies from experts. Regards, Cason P.S. What will happen to my MPx200 if I flashed its ROM too many times? Will it burn out? |

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my MPx200 ROM (bought from AT&T Wireless store) from WM2002 to WM2003. I really like the new ROM because it cleaned out the uneccessary softwares from AT&T but there are few problems I'd like to ask for your assistance. First, in the "Task Manager" menu, when I select "Kill All" (Programs), it always popped up the Error Message, and I have no clue why. Second, most of the games from OmniSoft such as those 3D racing games, I cannot install them on my 1GB Lexar SD Card. Today, I purchased RocketElite Gold but disappointed because the program couldn't be installed on the SD card. I have no clue, but when I tried to install on the Phone's RAM, it worked! Now, I'm asking myself: what's the point of the SD card if I can't install the game on it. This is the message when I tried to install the game on my SD card. ----------------------------- Unable to install RocketElite Gold ----------------------------- |\Mounted Volume < >| ----------------------------- Does anyone having this problem? This is extremely difficult for me to install anything. I couldn't install any of OmniSoft 3D games on my SD card. Virtual Pool Mobile worked. Tennis Addict worked. Rebound! worked. I could install Motocross to SD card with WM2002, but not WM2003. I hope someone in here is good enough to help me solve these problems. I've also sent email to the game-makers, but haven't received any response. Thanks ahead, Cason  |

 I did a couple of reformatting the phone's storage space, and now my battery runs out so quickly. I mean, it was fully charged in the morning, then in about 3 hours, it alerted me that I need to recharge the battery again. I'm using Window Mobile 2003 (upgraded) Is this a cellphone's fault, or do i need to replace a new battery? Please help, thanks. |

Sorry, forgot to ask this question. Does anyone know a good video splitter? Since I can't transfer big files to the SD card, splitter will help. |

QUOTE(phonesmarts @ Dec 31 2004, 21:52) Are they present on any of the custom homescreens? It could be due to the font that your homescreen uses. Nope, just plain WM2003. So is there anyway to remove it? |

someone from this board gave me an English version of Window Mobile 2003 to install, it worked great! but I'm having a little question. I noticed the way the the letters are in cleartype, very lovely, but I also notice those red pixels inside or nearby the letter of every words on a home screen. Is this normal...if not, how do I fix it? |

QUOTE(awarner @ Jan 30 2004, 06:28 PM) To be honest I'm not sure there was any differance as the clips I have were running very smooth in the first place. He's right. I think it's really slow down the system, my phone was fast before the tweak. |

Hi, I own a Motorola MPx200 from AT&T Wireless, and a 1gb Lexar SD card (not 32x) so I'm trying to copy some mpeg videos to my phone's SD card, but so far I was unable to transfer a 58mb video file to it. Any idea why? :?: |
