this looks like exactly like my SDAmusic, which is availiable since february (or january) in germany, and this is the device i tested for the soundbug with. so i can say it has the soundbug.

its availiable for roundabout 240-270€ in germany.

[edit]
sry, i overread, you already mentioned the similarity to SDAmusic.
but the 1,3MP are a surprise to my. I cant belive that they changed the hardware...perhaps the 1,3MP are software restricted on SDAmusic

maybe comparing both devices registries may open some doors on SDAmusic;)

hm, ok
but in my case, i noticed the bug after 3-4 weeks for first. t-mobile changed it to a new one. this had the bug after 1-2 weeks for first. than i changed to SDAmusic.
good luck;)

why, maniac did it already, it works perfect without starting IE and without asking for permisson.
i dont think that its in interest for the T-Mob to let users chang the buttons function.

try this, ist from "maniac" at the german SDA-Forum.

edit "Links for T-Zones.lnk" to customize the t-zones-key and "Links for STK.lnk" to customize the rightsoftkey on HS in \Storage\Program Files\T-Zones-Replacer. assing the STK to the rightsoftkey in the settings and change its name in registry.

i had a look at my "german" SDAmusic charger, on its lable the input is specified with 100V-240V 50Hz-60Hz, so it should work in UK (i think). but i think you need a simple plug-adaptor. it has an "Euro-Plug".
The soundproblem i mentioned above is a short tss all 16,8seconds. read more...
but the soundquality between these tsss's is very fine to my ears.
i also did some mesurements on pulse-response and frequency-response, and the results were perfect. but the amp is a bit to weak i think, with a load like headphones its might be not so good. i mesured with my soundboard which has high-impedance-inputs.

hi,
yea, the joystick is bit lower positioned than on SDA, also the keypad is a bit smaller and has moved some 1/xx'' down. (sorry, we work with millimeters laugh.gif ), but thats no problem for me. All in all, its a fine SP. but the Soundbug is still there. T-mobile mailed to me, that its going to be fixed in some weeks (month, years :?: ) an update will be availiable on the T-mobile homepage for download in germany. It's to flash on your own. I think it going to bethe same in UK.

i think with VBscript its much more configurable.
copy.exe only works if you want to reasingn the "T-Zones-Button"(SDA specific) or the "right softkey" on homescreen.
i didn'tknew about VBscripting possibilities, but i will try too

no,
but there is a program in a german forum, that copies a file to \windows at each boot to change the T-zone-buttons link to another app without starting the i-explorer.

[edit]
http://www.sda-forum.de/thread.php?threadid=1685

download "copy.exe" to \storage\windows\startup\
copy the single "*.exe" app to \storage\my document\ersatz.exe

the single "*.exe" app is now \windows\t-zones.exe
[/edit]

Maybe the video is encoded with a black frame. Or just try betaplayer. I only use WMP10 due to the hardware buttons which only works for WMP, for playing mp3. for videos i use BP.

thanks for the appreciation of my work8)

bu lemme get back to topic

I dont know about the sound of the C500, but i use a T-mobile SDAmusic an used a SDA before. I think the sound should be simmilar to C500s sound.
I simply think it sounds great. (at least in the 16seconds between soundbugs appearance)
The Headset of the SDA was not really good, the one from SDAmusic is much better, but not good enough for me;)
im using a pair Sennheiser MX500 on a self-build-2,5->3,5-Adaptor, it is really really a pleasure to listen to music on these devices with proper headphones. but its not a pleasure if you notice the Soundbug, but not all will notice it. It depends on music-style, bitrate, headphones and last but not least your ear, if you will hear it or not.

Please read my Analysis of the Soundbug befor you vote, if you havn't yet or don' know what we are talking about here.

The question is not if you think your phone has the bug or not, or if its audible with the testtone (it will definitly be)!

Also, please post the styles of music you hear the bug with or not and which headphones you use. A comment on the audioformat at which bitrate would be nice too.

If you dont use your Phone as MP3-Player, please dont take part.

Thanks to all.
Best regards Bazzo
