very cool? huh? have you ever used Yahoo Go version 1?

Sorry, but all I think it's that you overhypen this software is because you earn a lot from yahoo by advertising their product.
I personally use only their mail & messenger servics, don't care about the rest (flikr, etc).
Version 1 was the best release ever. It's integration with Outlook Mobile was very cool. You could attach file via file managers.. download attachaments easy, reply via outlook, etc.
Now, you have to use their heavy application for reading and composing(without attach). Eye candy/carousel interface?! I prefer the WM interface, more suitable for me and more effective.
Plus on V1 , all your mail were downloaded (that fits your filter rules) and you don't have to wait for each mail that you open


yahoo go 2 also is slowly. and it seems that it's a java application. (java file + java emulator , all in one). earlier version (yahoo go 2 gamma) had a .jar file separatly, now i guess it's masked somewhere the program files.

My note for this software: 2.

I REALLY miss the Outlook integration.

as far as I know, you can save directly to Storage Card only with 3rd party applications. for example: moblue, sniper, the real bluejack, smart file acceptor.

i haven't received any answer from orange devs..

how much space take those things? More than 10MB?
you cannot write in ROM just with special programs.. and it's a complicated process (see xda-developers.com)
and from the RAM module , ~ 16-17 is avaiable for Storage memory , the rest is avaiable for loaded OS, executed programs (processes).

with smartexplorer (if you don't have it, google it).:
file > open > manage file types...
chose .mp3 from the list
menu > edit file type..
command to execute:
wmplayer.exe "%1"

note the quotes (""), they are important. without those will not work

RAM = programs memory + storage
ROM = OS

on the ppc you can partitionate the ram memory between programs memory and storage memory (at least wm 2003 ppc edition is capable of this)...

programs memory = temporary memory used for opened appliction (also known as RAM)
storage = persistent memory

anyway, interesting how WM does share the ram with a persistent memory. it seems that it has multiple roles in comparison with the ram from pc (where the ram is cleaned up at every pc reset /start)..?

yeah, i've tested this with worms and midtown madness some weeks ago. looks preety bad

this happen to me too. maybe because of low space on storage.. anyway when the transfer is completed, go to \application data\volatile and copy the file on the storage card.

try this:
- connect the phone to the pc
- after activesync has established the connection between pc and mobile, press Explore
- locate cemail.vol, press ctrl+c
- go to a local folder/place on the pc (where you want to save the file)
- restart the phone with the usb cable plugged in
- when activesync has established the connection between pc and mobile quickly paste the file on the pc

it seems that a system application lock the file, so the trick is to copy the file before that process has started.
i've just tried to copy the cemail.vol file to the pc and it worked.

for the restore process use the same method.
please confirm if the restore process works (i personally haven't tried this.. just to backup).

mikeey try with this _snd_mixahead "0.10" . it works ok for me. with 0.50 i have that lag (i've observed that was already in config.cfg)

i've tried to play after a soft reset. the lag is still present whatever i do.. don't you have a lag between the sound and the action?
if i overclock at 252mhz runs ok but not perfectly, if i don't overclock the game plays with slowdowns.. i'm wondering how it runs on spv e200 which is under htc tornado in terms of performance..
maybe the source is not that optimized..

on my spv c600 it runs a bit slow.. even if i overclock it (252 or 264mhz)..
also, there is a ~ 2 seconds lag between sound and the action..

@joe maybe that's because your operator has put a download limit on the apn that you use. for example, i cannot download files bigger than 3mb with orange wap (apn=wap).
try something smaller, about 200kb

the answer is yes. it can be done via registry or via smartexplorer. i will show you the easier way.

- download and install smartexplorer (binarys.com)
- open smartexplorer
- file > open > manage file types..
- go to .zip
- menu > edit file type..
- check 'accept download in ie'
- press done
- do the same with the rest. you can add new extensions (menu > add file type..)

If you want to download files from modaco, add a new file type with the following properties:
- extension: php
- command to execute: .
- chose any icon
- check 'accept download in ie'
- press done
now you will be able to download files from modaco with IE. it will give an error when download will finish, just ignore it ;-)
