Can anyone please help? My SPV-C500 appears to have lost its ability to reassign sounds to ringtones and alerts in the Settings/Sound menu.  I can still assign ringtones to individual Contacts on my phone but cannot modify Sounds for alerts and errors etc. After I do try to change any of the settings the 'Done' button to store and exit does not work.

It's so frustrating......  Hope someone can help

How long is the ribbon cable?  I use a Krusell case, so if the cable is long enough and it can exit at the side I guess it could lie flat on the outside of the battery pack inside the case?

A guy from a romanian mobile phones forum gonna have for sale, in a week or soo (knock in the table), a dual-sim, his word "digital, 7 generation kind", well, no need to turn off/on to swich beetween sims.

I bought one of the ones that takes 2 SIMs but it doesn't fit in the phone. The ones where you cut the SIMS down habve been arround for ages and all the phonme forums I have been on people have asked about them and some people have even said that they are going to try them but I have never seen a post from anyone who has tried one (either succesfully or not) - I'm still waiting to here a report of one so if anyone has tried one.....

also the e200 doesn't support java by default so i'm rather worried about it

BUT it does sound GREAT and i'm very interested in looking into this myself (i'm about to start something diffrent but also on the sms area and so, wíll keep it a secret for now) and it does sound really nice.

Is there anyway you can password protect your media album?  I ask because i have some er...... personal photos that i don't really want no1 to see!  I no i can device lock the phone but is there any other way?  If not, anyone know of any software you can download that gives this option?

thanks to this i found an operator to use and did some calculations and will save 30-50% off my SMS costs (£.039/sms alot cheaper than my contract).

So I went off to the site, and got Genie texter, which is great, but where on earth do I get the other two downloads from? I don't see them on the Genie Texter site, and can't find a link here? Am I being stupid?

* Sync is for when you are connected to your computer via activesync (USB/bluetooth)

* IP is to connect to your computer over GPRS, just input your ip address in the box provided
* Press 'OK' and accept the security message about connecting
* You can import your contacts from GenieTexter by clicking 'Menu' and 'Get Contacts'
* To add a new contact, click 'Menu' and select 'New Contact'
* Input a the Name and Number and click 'Add'
* To select a contact to text, click 'Menu' and select 'Contacts'
* Highlight a contact and click 'Select'
* Type your message in the Message box

Problems?
* Status says "Connected to computer, please wait...." forever
- Make sure you are running the server program on your desktop
* It says the connection has timed out
