QUOTE(payableondeath @ Feb 24 2005, 22:52) its on linux now but will be on ms smartphones soon btw where do you linux pdas from cos i havnt seen any :?: There are Linux distros you can flash to an iPaq around. http://www.handhelds.org/handhelds-faq/handhelds-faq.html You wont see one down at your local electronics store, you will have to risk killing an MS one to flash your own. Sounds pretty cool but I wouldn't bother. I am sure people who do these kinds of things are either doing it for the nerd "because I can" value or through thier irrational hatered of Microsoft. (No that was not an invite to start an MS vs Linux flame war, I think Linux is cool and all, I am just an MS GUI dependant mofo who can't be bothered to be at the for front of the revolution!) |

It would be a lot easier to just go to Setting->Homescreen and choose Windows Default instead of Cingular. |

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...me=STRK:MEWN:IT I bought this on on eBay and have had no problems with it on my MPx220 or my SD card reader on the PC. I was very happy that it came with an SD adaptor so that I can use it with my SD card reader. |

QUOTE(goe602 @ Dec 24 2004, 08:16) Who cares if some normal people get around the system and screw over a MAJOR MULTI BILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION? I dont agree with people suing each other all over the place for little things, but I'm all for sticking it to any huge corporation when you get the chance. It's not like the money you would get from suing them is going to have a negative effect on them anyway. It's a drop in the bucket to them. Large corporations are like the plague. Just my 2cents Its reatarded mentality like this that makes people think they can win a riduculous lawsuit. Plus it also increases the cost of thing we buy. You are a moron! Why don't you go sue your parents for producing such a stupid person. |
