Solution to problem : be carefull when you buy 2gb or 1gb sandisk miniSD - it should have "Made in Taiwan" writen on the back and also is should have a white area on the back...if it doesn't then it's the original one and that's why it crashes and other problems apear....Remember it looks perfectly the same on one side and different on the other side....and if you open it ,you will find a chip that says "samsung" on it...

QUOTE(pavankp @ Jun 5 2006, 11:44) *
Does it behave any differently if you copy the files using Windows Explorer and ActiveSync instead of WM5torage?

Pavan

it does the same without wm5torage....the files large or small go the card, the space left is reported corectly, but when i try to open any of the recently copyed files it crashes..

well then if i caught your attention.... my 2gb minisd sandisk gets my c600 to crash every single time i put it in(i have formated the card with "disk manager" using wm5torage as fat,and also using the internal utility SP.Task.Mgr)...problem description:the handset can't acces files larger than 1mb on the 2gb minisd (mp3,wav rintones,movies..)but it has no problem openning less than 100k jpegs...is my rom(11.1.10.3 romanian) too "stupid" for this 2gb minisd?(also when i try to upgrade to english aku2:11.2.1.5 it says "error[294] invalid vendor id")...on the other hand the old 32mb also sandisk works fine...

PROBLEM:i got a 2gb sandisk minisd for my c600.i was excited to use it...but the phone crashes and it doesn't open the files that i copy to the card using wm5torage....so the files go to the card but the phone can't access them...and i'm curently using the old 32mb minisd wich is working ok.....i'm desperate..is 2gb minisd lowering performance? or is it incompatible? should i settle with a 1gb or 512mb?. unsure.gif
