Well I called Vodafone today and checked if it was on the stolen blacklist and they say not so I guess it's faulty. Have had a reply from the seller who sounds reasonable so my faith in ebay is semi restored. I'm going to take it into a vodafone store first to see if they can do anything for me. |

...or even more what you don't want to hear, but your 'new' Ebay phone may have been reported lost or stolen. The fact that it seems to be able to find networks, but can't connect suggests the IMEI number may be being blocked. Whichever, you certainly need to speak to the mobile operator to clarify why it won't connect. Hmm thanks I did wonder |

Help! My Diamond has lost it's sparkle. I have no signal just an ! next to the antenna logo. It's not network coverage as I've tried another phone with my 3 sim and my vodafone sim in the diamond and no signal with either network, although I get a message that I need to update the settings for this network. I have tried reflashing the origional vodafone rom 1.93.161.2 and reflashing the radio to 1.00.25.05 and now 1.00.25.06 none of which get me a signal. If I do a manual search for a network the phone finds vodafone, o2, orange, 3 and t-mobile but none give me a signal :-( any help I've only had the phone for a couple of weeks after buying it new off ebay. |

Well I tried an old game I got on my original SPV all those years back and can safely say that Intersteller flames works, but is a LOT harder on newer faster hardware than it was back in the day. You sure you're not just getting older ;-) I'm currently surfing as I'm stuck on Lego Indianna (not on the Niki unfortunatly that would be cool) |

I had a similar issue to this and discovered it was a problem with the bonding between the layers of the touchscreen. I ordered a replacement and on getting to the last stop discovered that the replacement was the wrong part. Lesson for future check the part before dismantling phone. So I now have 30+ parts of a phone and no screen |

Mine works fine with both car kit and GPS on my old WM5 PPC and my current WM5 smartphone so I would have thought it should with most devices and software. When in a call the navigation software mutes. |

Check your system Profile, and turn up the volume of the Announcements. It's really very sensitive to this, far more than the regular system sounds are. I usually ahve to have mine set to "4" or "loud" to make them audible. Hope this helps MadSci Which version do you need to run on the c600? I thought it only ran on PPC mobiles. |

Thanks for the reply monolithix, i suspected that they would be the same poor quality as many cheap Chinese products but I'm keen for this type of solution. I'd still like to here if anyone knows if they run windows mobile or Symbian as for not much more than £100 it might be worth a gamble. |

I'm fed up of having to carry both my work and personal mobile phones and have seen what are described as Dual SIM smartphones advertised by hongkong dealers on ebay. Has anyone any experience of these and know if and run Windows mobile or Symbian OS? I'd like a phone that has the ability to run a sat nav program preferably TomTom and also work with my blue-tooth car kit. |

All the dual sim adapters I've seen simply pass through the side of the battery and stick on the back of the phone. To operate they alternate between sims when you turn the phone off and back on. Not a great solution IMO. To have a phone run 2 sims cuncurrently you can get some phones from HK that do this. |

I've just checked my bill and found I've been charged £7.47 for mobile data yet none of my web n' walk allowance has been touched. I guess this happened when I upgraded to the iMate ROM and I'm using the wrong settings. Can anyone help rectify my settings? edit: Doh! Friday afternoon brain switched off. I'd simply used my allowance. |

I've used a v3's mains charger with my Vario so I can't see any reason why the car charger wouldn't work |

QUOTE(Michael3Jones @ Mar 8 2006, 14:29) I contacted T-Mobile by e-mail and they said that the manufacturers would repair it within the first 12 months --- and I should contact the manufacturers (i.e. not T-Mobile)! I am going to call T-Mobile, and will report back here. Anyone else had a unit replaced? If so, how did you go about it? Michael. I took mine into the T-Mobile store where the chap was very helpful (fellow Vario user) He completed the documentation and sent it in for repair. You should return your phone to wherever you bought it from that's who should be sorting out your problem. You have no contract with the manufacturer and it's not for you to deal with them. |

Reading your post I was wondering if I had written it and forgotten. I have the exact same problems that you write of. I've performed numerous hard resets tried with no apps installed and also tried SPB pocket+ to close apps properly. No joy I still find I can't make or receive calls at times without a reset. I also missed some early morning wake-ups as the alarm frequently doesn't go off. I noticed yesterday the screen came on, thinking it was an incoming call I grabbed the Vario only to see the boot loader screen and the startup sequence. I tried to take it into the store I purchased from only to find it closed for a refurb :-(. |

I don't think it would be that great a fit. Yes the keyboard wouldn't slide not that I use mine much/ at all. The cingular looks to be of a different design so cutouts for switches and buttons aren't placed the same as on the wizard. also the cingular looks more square at the corners so that may mean the fit isn't so snug. |

TT5 has a PIO warner built in so no need for any extras. It will flash the POI and let you assign a sound to the event. |

Thanks for sharing your creations, just loaded the supernatural one and looks great. I haven't got the clock working yet so just removing and reinstalling the plug ins to see if that helps. |
