LOL .... you actually think I'm going to say "Yeah she's a right minger!" :S Who, your girlfriend or your mother !? QUOTE Seriously neither of those two do anything for me. Nothing wrong with being Gay ..... they say it's in the Genes ;) QUOTE I like a woman who takes pride in her appearance without trying too hard! What gives you the impression those BengalBabes are trying too hard ?? The fact they bothered to brush their teeth and put on bikinis ?! QUOTE Plus it's plainly obvious that they love themselves because they are "models"! All attractive women love themselves !! QUOTE Just look on any of the "social networking" sites, and there are loads of girls who have had a photo or two taken of them professing to be a model! Dude, you need to stop trawling these sites looking for hot chicks and professing to be a Modeling "Agent" !! Let's keep this on topic please! Did anybody notice those BengalBabes were holding an Xperia X1 P |

QUOTE eGPS 3.1MP Camera with flash FM Radio microSD expansion 1350mAh battery Raphael: 51x99x17mm Is this spec genuine and confirmed ?? Why did they only put aGPS in the Diamond and a Camera without Flash ?! Good to see a bigger battery and microSD slot ..... |

I can't believe they left out a Camera button !! WTF !! Why in hell didn't HTC introduce all 3 devices at this event ?? Even if the Raphael is due for release for a while yet ..... it would still have made things seem much less of the anti-climax it was !! HTC have got Apple-Envy !! |

I don't know about CPU stuff ..... but yes, for example you should expect a new 40" LCD TV to be more advanced, better quality and lower in price than a 40" LCD from a few years ago ..... |

Technology always gets cheaper dude !! I remember paying an arm and leg for 56K Dial Up ..... I can now get 8Mb Broadband for Free !! Years ago when the very latest 1Gb SD cards were first released, they cost about £80 ..... today the very latest 16Gb SD card costs about half that ! PPC's have been around long enough now for them to be coming down in price ..... especially when the new devices are not all that revolutionary ! |

Well a nice upgrade ..... but nothing particularly exciting really !! And all this hype just for the launch of only one phone in the range ?! Actually, from previous speculation it's a bit of a disappointment to be honest = - slightly bigger than expected - no microSD slot - aGPS instead of eGPS - no flash on Camera Oh well, I'll still be getting one as soon as T-mob release them ..... but I doubt I'll be keeping it once the SEX1 or Android arrives ! Was secretly hoping HTC might have broken new ground in cost too ..... but it looks like it'll be around the same price as the Vario 3 |

Can't wait for tomorrow !! I think the spec of these phones is no secret now ..... but stuff I'd like to know = Is the screen using improved technology like OLED to increase battery life ? What is the touch mechanism, still resistive or something better ? Does the Camera have a Macro Mode and Flash, and how effective are they ? Does the FM Radio have RDS ? What does it weigh ? How long is expected battery life with average wage ? Have they implemented Drivers properly this time ! And I'm still hoping they will have word on the Android phone !! |

I don't see what benefit Manufacturers get by keeping secret their Release dates and more importantly the Prices ! Surely if they tell the world that the X1 will be officially available (for example) from the 15th September and will be priced at £499 without contract ..... it would firstly give Sony a motivation to not slip behind and delay the release ..... and secondly it would help potential customers decide to buy their product ! The fact that most contracts are 12/18 months long, means that if the Diamond/Raphael comes out next month as expected ..... many people who may have bought the X1 will either not bother waiting, or will assume the Sony will be too expensive ..... and will sign up with a different handset ..... not declaring a road-map for the consumer is costing these guys sales ! |

Most probably just prototype teething troubles ..... if not, then I wouldn't expect the HTC models to be any better ..... if they have messed up drivers again, I'm gonna burn the HTC factory down ..... actually nah, I'll just get an N96 I guess !! |

Says who? HTC are making the device, so if it's the same platform, i'm willing to bet it's the same drivers! Quite true ! Although the reviews of the X1 are saying it is the dogs !! Hopefully Sony has overseen this aspect and made sure HTC doesn't screw it up ! QUOTE See point above, I bet the camera will be the same as on these... Again quite true ! I read something about Sony wanting to put a 5MP in there ..... but HTC downgraded it to a 3MP !! As above, I'm pretty confident that Sony would make sure HTC imporve this feature above their lacklustre offerings in the past ! Anyway, back to the Diamond/Raphael ! Would you be able to hazard a guess as to possible prices of the new MDA Compact 4 ? ;) The Compact 3 is dirt cheap now on contract ..... would the Compact 4 simply replace it at the same price point ? I take it that the Raphael will be the new Vario 4 ?? ;) |

How is the X1 better? Dude ! 3" WVGA Screen with (slight!) Tilt = Excellent improvement over the usual and unimpressive 2.8" 3.5mm = Essential to use quality earphones instead of proprietary nastiness Radio has RDS = Nice feature to have 1500 mAh Battery = Extremely important !! Plus ..... Sony are using good Drivers = HTC's downfall in the past ..... Sony have a great reputation with Camera quality = HTC's Achilles heal ..... I'm a HTC fan and will jump on the new models as soon as they come out ..... but the X1 is without doubt the better device !! All the X1 needs to do is mate with the Nokia N96 and we'll have the Perfect device !! The only potential problems with the SEX1 will be possible delays in release and more than likely expense !! |

Nah, I'd take the Raphael over the X1 any day, for Manilla/TouchFlo, and the fact that HTC are a more experienced WinMo brand. And I'm almost certain they'll have learned their lesson, there'll be drivers here. I hope you are right about the drivers as (even though the X1 is far superior!) I'll be getting a T-Mob MDA Compact 4 as soon as they come out !QUOTE Enhanced GPS. from Wikipedia : "eGPS delivers a "universal positioning capability that will not only work reliably indoors and in zero GPS signal conditions, but greatly speed time to fix in poor GPS reception areas where most handsets are used." More specifically, it can "exploit data available from the cellular network to speed GPS fixes and provide complementary, fast, and reliable location sensing when GPS signals are weak or unavailable." " Good old Wiki ! So does this mean that eGPS will be an extra feature which the Network will charge for ? If you don't pay then you're left will plain vanilla GPS ?QUOTE And seeing as it's winmo, you can get the benifit of doing things like Powerpoint presentations or websurfing on the bigger screen, or work on documents etc, even watch videos or show pictures. Looks like TV-out is a pretty cool feature after all ! |

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET !! So we know T-Mob is coming out with the Diamond quite soon ..... would it be worth waiting for the Raphael ?? I've read that the Diamond will have FM Radio and 4Gb Memory but no MicroSD and Flash ..... and the Raphael will have MicroSD and Flash but no 4Gb and FM Radio ?? The X1 still kicks these two in the nuts though ..... 3" inch WVGA Screen with Slight Tilt + 3.5mm Jack + Radio has RDS + 1500 mAh Battery + A Better Chance Of Decent Drivers !! By the way what is eGPS and why would anyone want to hook up a phone to a TV ?? |

Dunno if it'll be possible to unlock it, in the first place... I think T-Mo & HTC will do their best to make it impossible to unlock (albeit, so far, they have always failed at this I doubt it very much ..... "locking" handsets is merely another revenue stream for them ..... T-Mo would happily unlock the phone for you if you hand over the cash ..... in any case, there are countless websites and mobile phone shops that will be able to do it for you a few months after launch ! |

To say that HTC have no userbase/fans is a bit inaccurate if you ask me. I dont know hard sales figures or installed userbase, but I am there are many many people who like their HTC products and await new products from HTC. Even refrigerators will have some kind of fan base dude ! However to say that HTC has the same kind of loyal brand following as Apple is patently absurd ! Most people outside of this forum probably don't even know HTC exists ! |

Why are HTC following the crappy Apple style, secrecy marketing plan ?? They don't have the brand power or the loyal fanbase, to pull it off effectively like Apple do !! What is so terrible about being open and giving people a Roadmap ?? |
