Partitioning doesn't change anything. I tried it and the second 1 GB is still unusable through phone. For the reformatting card, I tried HP format tool. It also brings the card to the original condition, even it was partitioned. But problem remains there. And I tried several ROM versions with above suggestions. Same here. Used Panasonic sd formatter as suggested in HowardForums.com Any Microsoft guru's out there? |

QUOTE(conan_troutman @ Apr 1 2006, 19:14) I emptied my storage card to day and formatted it to see what happens I then loaded everything back on and now I can only access half the data I think that maybe the problem I can however still access it all via the usb card reader. what have I done, I wnated to try this partitioning thing half dedicated to programs and such like half the card dedicated to media files. If any one know how to partition a card please post how or where i can buy the software to do it. thanks I might buy a new card and see how it reacts too wonder why half the info is no longer readable. QUOTE(Klæl @ Mar 21 2006, 19:07) I don't think so. Mailed several times with Motorola. In the last mail they stated only 256mb is supported and that they will change the specification on the sites. Some are able to use a 1GB. When I onlhy use 1Gb of my 2Gb, it works fine. The only thing I did not test is a minisd from another brand. I used several roms and registry tweaks. Neither of them worked. I am afraid it is hardware related |

QUOTE(imisim @ Mar 4 2006, 00:48) The Adata 2GB miniSD from NewEgg will work with the MPx220. If you need to format the card, format using the factory default setting which is FAT. When I used FAT32, the phone can't access the My Music folder which has more than 1GB. It will probably work if I delete some mp3 and bring the size down, but with FAT, I can keep every mp3 I want in it. The Topram 2GB miniSD didn't work with my MPx220. It seems like the Adata will work with a lot of phones according to various forum. How did you format the minisd? Under windows XP? |

QUOTE(lokmeup @ Feb 11 2006, 23:50) ME TOOOOOOO...... The phone see the the full 2gig in Resource Manager, but only 1gig in Smart Explorer. When I get close to 1gig of storage used I get the following error when I try to copy any more files from my computer: "The drive cannot find the sector requested" I think it is time to return the 2gig card and get two 1gig cards! Ron PS: I have tried ATT1.43ROM, Asian3.53ROM and Asian3.51ROM. What ROM are you using? PSS: I have also tried editing the registry value: HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Lowmem/Storagelimit From: 512000 To: 2048000 But without any luck. At HowardForums someone is using up tp 97% of his 2Gb minisd: http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=851274 Maybe he uses a late mpx 220 or does formatting matter (fat fat16 or fat 32) Still curious |

It works with the tomtom bluetooth gps. But the TFAC is better. Works from the glovecompartment also. I was asked to do some testing for somebody selling gps devices for pda's. He is thinking of selling them to smartphones owners to. Just anticipating customer questions. Personally I think the advice should be: wait for tomtom 5. That version will support more gps devices |

QUOTE(beginner @ Feb 18 2005, 11:35) Copied the directories: 2577, System, TomTom, Benelux Navigator Map to the root of my mini sdcard. Installed the update ttm_sp. Activated my bluetooth serial port (ONLY 1!) and paired with my TFAC BT-30 and renamed it to TomTom Wireless GPS Turned the phone off and on. Started TomTom. Configured it (Voice etc) and waited...................waited..................waited............ TomTom told me no gps device found. Tried the same as above without turning off the phone. Hope you can help |
