I'm slowly playing around and tweaking my Audiovox SMT 5600 and I've hit a rough patch.


I've done a fair amount of searching through the site and so far I can't seem to find a way to do this. I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks in advance for any replies!

I want to use a few animated GIF's, but when I use them they over-write the CallerID info. I know I can change the location and size of the animated GIF (and related templates). But what I *really* want to do is change where the CallerID Information displays by default. Specifically, I want to change the Size of the Fonts and the Location of the Text on the screen, so that instead of being in the middle of the screen, it's at the top.

This would of course give me more room for animated GIF images, and to *also* see the callerID info. I particularly want to go this route because creating a custom CallerID image for over 100 contacts seems absurd.


Is it possible to do this? If there's a thread or an FAQ (or a plugin) I've missed, please point me to it.

Here is the XML from my home sreen. It works fine. I'm using Outlook, and the appointments location (resource) info shows up with no problems.

Great plugin. Works very well on my Audiovox SVT 5600.

Two Minor Issues:
1. When the plugin is initially loaded in the home screen it's blank, until you navigate to it the first time.

2. Outside of your home.xml sample the background highlight bar (the orange background in the screenshot above) does not appear. Instead the text is simply shown in the highlight colour.

Other plugins I have recognize the below tag. I'm guessing yours currently does not:
