I'm afraid thats normal.... Had a Boxwave Flexiskin before and it was exactly the same. Then one day when i pulled the (ringing) phone out of my pocket the skin broke. :|
The weak spot is between the cut-out for the pen and the cut-out for the sd-card.

The replacement skin that I bought on ebay for 5£ (ink shipping from Tawian to Sweden) is way better (and cooler beacuse it's black! biggrin.gif ). Sorry dude.

But any upgrade isn't likely to be free... IPaq-users who upgraded to WM 2003 payed about 40-50£ for the upgrade.

I'll let you know how it works out when i get it. (may not reach me for another week or more though)
I got the cover one since i carry my jam in my pocket... no need for a clip and the cover will gaurd agaisnt crushing pressures on the screen.

I have the flip-top silicone one from Boxwave. At first I didn't think I was going to keep the flip-top but I did. And the flip-top has som dents in it so I'm glad I did.

Overall i love the case, not to much dust and dirt on it and i've had for about four or five weeks. Only thing I miss is a sdcard-holder (Nice tip about sliding the card inside the skin!).

The case/skin: http://www.boxwave.com/products/flexiskin/...ek-s100_537.htm

I also have this screenprotection from boxwave: http://www.boxwave.com/products/cleartouch...ek-s100_537.htm and it's great!

(Would love if more people linked to pictures of their cases!)

Edit: Didn't see the second page of this thread before I posted.... Sorry...

Nice! I've been thinking about building my own system but havn't, yet.... biggrin.gif

One question, I think I've read something about controlling WMCE with a PPC-device over the net and that you can program recordings and so on. Is that true and have you tried it?

Eastgear now sells a SDIO-WiFi card with a very small antenna, only 6mm.

Here is picture of it when it´s plugged into the HTC Magician:

It´s quite cheap too... only 85 USD!

For more info, visit the Eastgear Site.

I have seen nice PAN and LAN connection pics of devices using the widcomm  Bluetooth stack.

This MS based BT stack on my MDA compact is crap. I cant see what services devices are offering no nice interface.

Can it be purchased or downloaded.

My other wish is Opera for PocketPC 2003.

Hoping to make my life easier and device more intuitive

I think that is a normal way. Same thing if you delete a message in outlook, it also get's deleted on the other "side" when you sync.

Any ideas on when HTC will announce a new model based on PPC Phone Edition? If you check the previous announce-dates it should be anytime soon (I hope!).

2004, 4Q - HTC Magician (Qtek s100, MDA Compact, I-mate JAM, Dopod 818)

2004, 3Q - HTC Blue Angel (Qtek 9090, MDA III, O2 XDA III, SPV M2000)

2004, 2Q - HTC Alpine

(Dates is from the i-mate editions on www.gsmarena.com)

Or will we not see any completely new model for some time? Only updated versions of the old ones? Like the HTC Alpine update?
