Hello, I see that you didn't press the down key (silver round button) How to go to firmware boot: PRESS Up (+) key and press navigator button down (silver button) at the same time. While holding those keys, put press reset for about 2 sec. and then release reset only. You will enter the boot (firmware) menu. See my other post in this forum Firmware A701. Good luck |

Hello, On a Dutch forum I posted a week ago the newest R46 firmware. I'm using this firmware for over a week now and I'm very happy. The very annoying high tone has gone and the sound quality and camera quality is much better. How to update firmware?: 1) Copy firmware file to ROOT on SD Card 2) Rename the WIncem..... to WINCEIMG.BIN 3) Now you must have at least 60mb free on memory card 4) Press volume button UP (+) and at the same time the joystick button down (silver button) and press also the reset button for about 2 sec. in with stylus. 5) Phone will reset and release the reset button. You will arrive in firmware menu 6) Choose option 0; FlashROM Upgrade, then option 6; Total img By SD/MMC 7) Wait when phone finishing update Have fun! |
