When the first Orbit came out, I found an app that gave a keypad and enabled texts without stylus. I have now come back to another Orbit and need the application

ive currently got the ornage rom 4.2.1.4 and wanted to upgrade to the imate sp3 rom but when i tried to do this it would not let me.

is there a certain procedure to do this?

ok ive managed to update it to the old GSM stack but still not 100%, is it possible to change itto the sp3i stack, as i found bettersignal when i had one of them?

noticed the signal is bad on my c500

one minute its there and the next it drops, had same problem on both of minee.

currently got rom 4.2.1.4

i hear it isa GSM stack problem and soom roms are ok

was thinking of upgrading to 4.2.2.1 which is the french rom, will this help and if so can i put the french rom on easily enough

any other solutions?

EDIT : i have found how to roll back the GSM stack but it requires me to install cert.cab onto the phone but it says i cant do it and fails, due to restriction

how can i get past this so i can install the certificate and go back to the old GSM stack

the thing is i already have tomtom mobile from version 4 and never gopt the new receiver. i sold the original and bought a bt-338 when i got tomtom 5.

i dont think mine has the latest firmware but will getthat sorted

can anyone confirm it tomtom mobile 5 work on the sp5 with a globalsat bt-338 receiver - i think it has old firmware if it makes any difference

think about buying it but only of it work, if not it may have to be a c600 and no wifi

if there are any problems is it will wm200 or the phone itself?
