I too am holding off for 24hours - the download file has already been fixed once, and I want to see some more reaction, as I currently have Dymond running quite sweetly. There seem to be issues with 3g diallers, and I really like the way the scrol wheel jumps to my speed dial at the mo. The scroll wheel on speed dial thing has always worked even in WM5...Anyways I've flashed it, it's a speeding bullet... but no video calls.. but then again, no one i know has it either so no loss. the hybrid "touch" interface is nifty, you can programme your fav programs to launch.. one of his better roms... argh, signature not updated.. |

You've got a point... I guess not all of us use the device the same way =) I'd get a new one if this one dies on me, f**k warranties as I'm possibly 7,000 miles away from the nearest Vodafone UK store haha! |

Has anyone else upgraded to black? Is it any good? Worth it? I couldn't be bothered with black anymore as the last one i flashed was SUPER buggy... (3.0.1).... everything from WiFi to BT didnt work / needed a cab to fix. Am on a different ROM now and it's super, although the whole kernel has been built by chefs and not by M$.. |

I listen to a radio station over the internet quite a lot using my Vario II. I want to use it in my car now, but since it uses the internet connection it just eats the battery for fun. I have a car power adapter and a stereo adapter, but obviously these things cannot be plugged in at the same time. Are there any adapters so I can plug both in at the same time? Look here |

I tried it out... my take: Its rubbish.. For push e-mail to be working, you need to be connected to MSN full time which means 1. Say goodbye to your battery life 2. It won't work if you sign in on your computer because it doesn't automatically try to sign in again. I give up. |

The new HTC TyTN ROM has now been officially released! There are however certain limitations to its release. 1. It is not available for download 2. It has only been distributed to HTC Repair Centres 3. You will have to send it to a repair centre in order to update your device The repair centres that i know can offer the update are - Milton Keynes (English devices only) Eurotwice (English, Dutch and French devices only) Teleservice Portugal (Portuguese devices only) Enjoy! (This is not the WM6 update due in a few months...) A litle more info - It has been upgraded to AKU3.3. This means that it will now utilise Internet Sharing, and therefore be very similar to the HTC P33/3600 4350. Yeah good that AKU 3.3 has been released but you know that it's been "floating" around for some time now. |

Ok so here are the updates after a few weeks of running wm6.. No issues of memory leaks, the device is stupendously speedy... I use my Hermes as a USD modem often and face no issues with it at all. A2DP has somewhat improved. |

Have the latest version of WM6 LVSW... It's absolutely astounding as to how fast this thing runs! I'm thoroughly amazed. Any idea on why did MS took so long to decide to develop a final version of Windows Live Messenger mobile? |

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=279585 seems to be what you're looking for. Have any operators around the world actually rolled out a useable PTT? I've always wished they'd hurry up and release it so that we can stop text messaging once and for all! Yup, we have PTT in Malaysia thru Maxis. HSDPA, UTMS, EDGE, GPRS too. =) An unlimited usage plan costs approximately 26 Euros a month... ahhaha! |

I run a football and often need to text all players when matches are cancelled etc. My old O2 xda wasn't good at multiple recipients. Had a group in contact list which filter on the players but you still had to select all. This SPV M3100 with MS Outlook 2002 is even worse. I cant seem to get the contacts list up when creating a new test. Yo have to select menu/add receiptient and add one at a time Anyone got any suggestion for this. I have created a draft with all players names in the draft text message, which I copy and paste, but surely there must be something better than this. Or am I missing something. Cheekess try jeyo mobile extender and you'll be able to send multiple recipient sms via outlook over activesync =) |

[*]Full Horizontal QWERTY keyboard [*]MSN Messenger on it [*]WMP as a mp3 player [*]Ease of use/set up of email and all message services [/list] You should try the core media player... it's even better! Bad Point:
With one exception..... the camera.... serious let down. The camera is actually quite good you know, you need to set the quality to "fine" and voila it is quite nice. Seems abit unfair to compare it to SE as you know, sony manufactures cybershots, HTC don't... =) One of the few phone cameras with Macro mode! =) Check out my pic taken on the macro mode... It's reasonably decent if you ask me... Pic I've updated to AKU 3.3 Rom and the long connection time is more or less settled... |

Internet Sharing creates a PAN Network, compared to the Wireless Modems DUN Connection. As such no Modem will be installed, and no manual connection needs to be created in Network Conections. All you need to do is enure that there is a valid GPRS / 3G Modem connection created, navigatge to Internet Sharing, select your method of connectivity, and start the Modem. Now depending on what method you are using, e.g. USB, this will create a PAN Connection in Network Connections. Simply double-click on this and follow the on screen pormpts. Bluetooth however can be a bit of a stinker - especially as Internet Sharing and the Toshiba Bluetooth stack do not mix. When the Modem is started, view services of the device (from the PC), and you should see something like a Network Gateway (i cant remember exacctly what). Once more click on this and it will create a connection to the Network. He says. thanks!!! does activesync need to be shut down in order to use this? i really sound like an idiot now ahhaha! |

Upgraded to the new AKU 3.3 rom and found out that the wireless modem programme has been replaced by internet sharing... I have no clue what soever on the usage of this "Internet Sharing". Am really grateful if anyone can shed some light on this please. Tks! |
