any news on the 9150? still showing "Coming Early 2008" but no linking from the new imate HP to the phone's page... a shame if its really canceled...would have been the "Eierlegende Wollmilchsau" of all WM Clamshells... If its canceled... Can anybody please develope a slim, stylish (like the StrTrk) WM 6.0 or 7.0 or whatever Clamshell with UMTS WIFI and FM-Radio? Cause I would appreciate beeing able to transfer files like mp3 without completely disassembling half the phone (StrTRk) and listen to traffic alert messages while riding motobike... ciao, flunserl |

salve! yeah in the meantime i solved the prob myself or to be honest, by accident: your right: the problem was that the ActiveSync Service didnt appear on the phones bt menu! the reason for this might be a communication problem between the BlueTooth Driver and Activesync: As i wrote i de-/reinstalled the whole crap several times without any success but yesterday it suddenly worked... maybe those who got the same difficulties, now have a hint where to start with debuggin... Hi! I am writing from germany so i tried to translate my problem into english, i hope i can make my self clear... the problem is, that my brandnew purchased qtek 8500 after some days suddenly, refuse to connect to Activesyn by bluetooth! connection by USB works fine. when i paired it the first time the bt synchronisation worked fine, then needed to delete the pairing and since i paired it for the second time it wont get any connection to ActiveSync: It always says: "No Exisiting Bluetooth Partnership with ActiveSync PC found" the bt connection itself works without problems: push, modem, filetransfer n.p.! Everyting i tried didnt work out: - i deleted the pairing on pc and the device a number of times - reinstalled activesync - stopped XP-firewall - reinstalled my Bt Stack - deleted and reinstalled all com ports on the pc - created and tried all incoming bt comports from 1 to 9 in active synx - also hardreseted the qtek! it stays the same: imediately after i press "connect via bt" in activesync on the phone, the error message appears! btw: i also tried bt-syncing my wm2003se Motorola Mpx220, without any problems! any ideas? big thanks in advance!, flunserl |

Hi! Are there any news on the 2Gig issue? Would be to nice if somebody found out something in the meantime..... btw: the tweaking with the "storagelimit" in registry does not look like it got anything to do with a "storage card limitation" 1st: 512.000 arent 512MB but 512KB, so it didnt have a connection to the storage card size and 2nd there is somethin like "lowmem" in the path...so guess what it is good for.... ciao, flunserl |
