My long search for compatible chager for the P525 has ended thanks guys on another forum. For those who need another charger for whatever reason here's what is compatible with the Asus P525. Zen, you probably missed my post in page 1. The charger will work as long as the D+ and D- are short.1/ Official Motorola V3 charger - I bought 2 off ebay for less than £10, one for home & one for work. 2/ Blackberry usb travel charger - the version with the mini usb connection & worldwide multi pin adapters great for travelling. I bought this because I travel to Asia frequently & with its multi pin adapters & usb cable attachment I can use it to charger all my other gadgets aswell. Again off ebay for £12. 3/ Blackberry car cigarette charger - obviously to use in the the car ebay £10 |

had to 'borrow' the product code from a friend as I run out of activation lives & TomTom won't give me a new one as the Asus is "not a supported device". Why not just use a crack then???What make it even better on the Asus is that you you can use the screen taps to navigate around the program AND/OR the keypad (just like smartphone edition). Opps, I didn't know TT does it too. I found the keypad works for IG3 also. A question I have is regarding the GPS option on the settings page of the Asus. That is intended for GPS sharing (e.g. running multiple GPS software at the same time). But somehow it doesn't work for me and I use GPS Gate for that purpose. But if U don't need to run multiple GPS program at the same time, just leave it alone |

Just come across this thread. For people who want to charge P525 w/ non-Asus charger, U have to short the D- and D+ circuit. I already did to my car ciguar USB charger and it works. For more detail, read here (in Chinese) http://www.mobile01.com/topicdetail.php?f=61&t=198424 Ingvarr, are you the one I saw on Xda-developers too? |
