Alright, just got it from seller "netimes" with pretty quick shipping from overseas. Tested it out, works like a charm. Quality stereo output for audio, button works for answer/end/voicedial. Mic is decent for the price (just don't expect it to perform that well in the car with windows down). Only thing that doesn't work fully like it should is the volume slider. It turns vol on and off, but does not increase nor decrease it. May just be mine, but I don't see that as a big flaw considering the price and that it'll get pretty loud using the on-phone volume controls.

I'm glad I got it, completes the multimedia phone experience I was looking for.
I recommend getting it since it's pretty much the only one out there for this phone, plus it's cheap.

Hey sorry there SD wizard, guess I should get my facts completely straight before I post.
I never had any problems formatting my SD cards (128Mb & 1Gb - only used with windows mobile smartphones) with Windows formatting tool. I don't see it as that big of a deal since this smartphone runs on "WINDOWS".
But I'd like to check out this proprietary SD formatting program. Care to give us a link to that nifty tool, oh wise one? wink.gif

It has to be formatted in FAT16. FAT32 won't work which is why the high capacity microSDHC cards won't work, they use the FAT32 format (which is too bad, it'd be awesome to have a 4GB card in it). HTC says a 4GB card will work if you can find one that isn't SDHC, so capacity shouldn't be the issue unless it's with your card reader.

Windows formatting tool should be able to format your card in FAT16 no matter what card reader you're using.

Yeah, that's kind of what I figured. But, the post for AT&T GPRS settings doesn't show much -no internet settings, just proxy. I guess I'll probably just have to call and get the run-around again.

But, the problem with not being on the Cingular network is that it seems like I have less coverage on the AT&T network. I had a Nokia 3595 that I could pick up Cingular in my hometown great, but AT&T doesn't pick up out there hardly at all. Or maybe it's just the phone.

Any thoughts on how to get it to work on Cingular network?
Thanks

**Edit to prev post: The only networks it shows on Preferred Networks under Settings/Telephony/Networks is AT&T and T-Mobile, even though I know there is Cingular Service out here.

Sorry if this is posted elsewhere, please let me know.

I bought a MPx200 AT&T phone and unlocked it so I could use it with my Cingular SIM. All went well, and I am able to use the phone to make and receive calls/text msg but the network that it says it's on is AT&T Wireless (has triangle symbol, too -assuming that means roaming?). As much as I try, I can't get it to switch to the Cingular network. I have the 1900 band in my area (Nashville, TN), but even when I go to Preferred Networks to try to "Add" one of the Cingular networks it comes back with an error:

"Unable to save settings. Verify you have network coverage and that the setting is supported by your carrier."

Now, this is not a big deal for calls and txt msg, but I can't get on the internet either using the settings I found on this site for Cingular setup. I'm just guessing that I can't connect to Cingular GPRS because it's actually on the AT&T Network.

Am I anywhere close?

I'm please to announce that the MPX200 unlocker server is online too.
Just visit the www.imei-check.co.uk for more details.

Florin: Wondering about unlocking my MPx200 with your site. What code will you be providing? Will it be the "Network PUK" Unblock code? or prior/subsidy unlock code? Am wondering if I could get both. I am trying to unlock my AT&T MPx200 to work with Cingular SIM card. Got the Network PUK Unblock message and Cingular is no help in getting me that number.
My understanding is that the Network PUK unBlock code and Subsidy unLock code are two different things. Subsidy unlock being phone unlock and Network PUK being service provider unblock?
Can you ensure that the code you give me after paying will get my phone unlocked?

This is really frustrating. I just want to use an AT&T phone with Cingular. Since AT&T merged with Cingular, I don't see the problem. Sorry, relatively newb. :?:

If anyone else could shed some light on this also, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
