The program you're looking for exists, and it's name is CeleTask (this is the last free version, and it's really excellent!).

Do it so and you'll have the behavior you ask:

1. Press the right soft key (Menu),
2. Select the voice #6 (Options), then the #7 (Hot Key),
3. Go to the line "Close all" and choose the key (press your device OK button, usually the central button pad, and then your preferred key),
4. Return to the main screen of CeleTask and press the Menu key and again choose "Option" and unmark the voice "Show Exclude".

From now on, to kill all the running processes just execute CeleTask and keep pressed the key you have chosen in the procedure described before. If you assigne CeleTask to the right soft key, then you just have to do two simple steps: press the right soft key to run CeleTask and then press the key previously chosen.

That's all.
PS: To exclude a program, press the right soft key (Action) on the main screen and select Exclude, in this way you don't close the program that will run in "background".

PPS: But CeleTask do more than this!

Hope I've explained well.
Gubbài.

Sorry for the late response but i've been away.
But thanks!! It works great!!

Hi,

On my C500 with WM2003 I used QuickClose to close all my open applications. It was great! You just start the application and it exits all open applications and then returns back to the homescreen.

When i try this on my WM5 it looks as if it works fine. But when I look with the Task Manager all applications are still open.
Has anybody an solution for this problem? Or is there another program that does the samen?
Thanks in advange!! smile.gif

this screen assumes a set number of entries so if you remove the other plugins to isolate Message Count, you'll get a lot of blank space.
no, your only solution is a custom plugin.

I've tried a lot of things. And I got that lot of blank space you mentioned.
So I'm just given up and leave it this way. mad.gif
Thanks for all your replies.

I think the standard MS messaging plugins allows SMS, eMail and calls, you can try this smile.gif

Not sure if it works, but give it a try !

It shows the SMS and emails, but the missed calls nevers shows a number. sad.gif

I think the main problem is that you can't get Missed calls and sms on one line! angry.gif

Hi there,

On my Samsung i320 i have a home screen that looks like this:

From here you can choose the fooling options:
as SMS

as E-mail

as Missed Calls

Now I want this on my own home screen, but i don't know how.
When i look in the XML of that screen, the only thing that makes this line is:
CODE
<plugin clsid="{6D4E0B9A-A675-4B40-94E9-9ED95F99CA56}" name="HSType2-2" index="2" selectable="yes" height="1" managerIdx="1" />

When i copy this into my own homescreens, nothing happens.
Can somebody help me??
Thanks in advange.

Have Fun

You can also double press "Hangup" with locked kayboard. The screen saver will go away, and when it reappears, the counter will be 0. wink.gif

When i see that i have an unread message or a missed call, then i want to know who has sent me a message or called me. So I have to unlock it to see this.
But I'll get used to it smile.gif

The only thing I have changed is the keystroke combination used for resetting the counter: In 2.x, this was left softkey and # (keypad unlock), now it is double-"Hangup".
*

That was always the way for me to unlock, so that's why I thought it wasn't working oké
Now I've to learn to use double-"Hangup" after I've unlocked my phone with left softkey and # (keypad unlock)

This "problem" is covered in my FAQs. Short: It's no bug, and you have to double press the "Hangup" button to reset the counter.

Thanks!! But I can't remember that the previous version had this problem.
I'm glad it is no problem and now I know what to do.

I found a problem.
On my screensaver it always displays the number of unread messages. Even after I've read them all. :?:
The only solution is to disable the the Automatic Keylock, click on OK and then enable the Automatic Keylock again. :??:

EDIT:
After the next message the problem is back again.

EDIT:
I've installed the software again and reset the registry, but it makes no difference the problem is back again.

I like it very much as it was. I really don't need the status line.
And when I use Moving Clock I even can't read the statusline on my C500. :?:

Thanks cuk0724!
But I've tried to change it from 2 into 1 and then click on "Done".
But then I get the message "Unable to perform this operation".
What am I doing wrong?

I found it!! biggrin.gif I had to use the signed registry editor.
I've installed it and it works great.
Thanks!!

You both have the same problem: You have to change those registry keys I mentioned before with a signed registry editor.

Hello Maniac103. Can you please tell me again which registry keys I have to change, or tell me where you have mentioned it. I've looked everywhere here, but I can't find it. sad.gif
Thanks in advance biggrin.gif

Hi,
I’ve read the solution to make a popup for an incoming sms.
I want something similar. Is it possible to show the contents of the sms, or al least the first 50 characters or something like that. Something like the popup from an incoming call.
If its possible then I would be great if it only does this when the text begins with “Orange”.
In the Netherlands it’s possible to get an sms when the police has a mobile speed control. wink.gif
So when I’m using TomTom Mobile 5 it would be great to see such an incoming sms. biggrin.gif
Thanks in advange.

Hello,

At this moment I´ve on mijn homescreen this layout:
Orange
13.25_____________6-4-2005

I don´t like it; it cost to much space. How can I make a layout like this:
Orange____06-04-2005_13.25
of
Orange__6 april 2005___13.25

the __ are spaces, but I can´t show them otherwise.

Anyway I want it all on one line, so I´ve more space for my appointments.

Here is the second question: can I do the same thing with my appointments:
Now its like.:
Going home
16:30

I´de rather have something like:
16:30_Going home
18:00_Diner

Is it possible to get more appointments on my homescreen.
I´ve tried Homescreen Designer van Ruttensoft and it worked oke, but I didn´t get the letters in Bold so I could see it very well (on my SPV C500)

Have Fun

Hallo,

Momenteel heb ik op mijn homescreen de volgende layout:
Orange
13.25_____________6-4-2005

Dit vind ik niet echt overzichtelijk. Hoe kan ik er bijv. dit van maken:
Orange____06-04-2005_13.25
of
Orange__6 april 2005___13.25

Have Fun
