QUOTE(pedah3 @ Jul 13 2005, 19:54) After checking out Moto's website, it said that our MPx220 is fully compatible with their new IHF1000 Bluetooth car kit. So I bought one, had it installed, and found that it kind-of worked. It will pair initially, but after the car is turned off, the phone will not re-connect with the car kit. If a call comes in, when the phone is disconnected, it will suddenly go into handsfree mode. I can also force it to connect by trying to make a call. I tried the kit with other non-smartphone Motorola phones, and it works great. Also tried the kit with 3 different MPx220's using both 1.43 and 1.30 ROM - no difference -same problems. Basically Moto was no help, so which kits have others tried that actually work as they are supposed to? I have it working in our OEM Lexus and Audi cars, but need to install a kit in another vehicle. i have a parrot ck3100 and it works perfekt. |

QUOTE(ckk @ Jul 1 2005, 12:22) I got TomTom Mobile 5 working with an Adapt Bluetooth GPS and activesync works through bluetooth! If it hasn't worked for you yet then try this: use a registery editor and go to CODE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TomTom\GPS Engine\ Change the device name to the default GPS name (when you pair the gps) CODE Device = BT GPS also CODE Enabled = 1 now pair the gps and pc and don't activate com6. (I didn't atleast) Connect to activesync with bluetooth. Now start TomTom... and go to the GPS Device... and then wait till it finds the device. You should then be able to Use tomtom and use activesync. But if you start tomtom first you will have to close tomtom before you can use activesync through bluetooth. I am using rom 3.46 so I don't know if it works for other roms. But I guess activesync uses a default com and the gps will find a free com to use. i can't find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TomTom\GPS Engine tomtom is not in SOFTWARE. strange? |
