Umm...I hope you mean the blue house button and not the green call button, cause the green call button doesn't do anything when u hold it down...lol

Yup, made a little mistake, it should indeed be the blue home button.

Have you tried rebooting your phone?

Have you tried holding down the green "call" button? That lead to the menu to switch off airoplane mode. Hold down the green "call" button for around 5 seconds.

You can get to the Airplane mode function by pressing and holding the green call button. Then, you'll get a menu where you can turn off Airplane Mode... had the same thing once and looked for ages to find out you can just switch it off maually.

But battery life makes you very annoyed sometimes. 6 hours??? I don't know what to do. I say, if you find 2003 upgrade, just do it. I think they will relase a rom that fixes battery life too. (sorry about my English)
*

You should remember to turn the accept beams function off. In some versions it's on by default and it drains the battery. I believe I have the same rom as you, but it says extended rom m.s or sometinhg. Battery life is better than with 2002.

If you check you will find the physical memory is less running 2003 than 2002. Also I can say for sure that on the MPX200 it will run slower as does 2003.
*

because you have experience with wm2005 on the mpx200?? If you don't, the you can't say for sure can you. My physical memory is the same with 2003.... It just runs faster and more stable with 2003... that's it

QUOTE(awarner [MVP] @ Jun 10 2005, 20:47)
It certainly will not be faster and should be slower than 2003 as 2003 is slower than 2002 due to the increased memory usage.
*

Well I can't agree with you on that one... I have 2003 running on my mpx200 for some time now, and it's way faster and more stable than 2002. 2003 is taking less space on my mobile than 2002 was. I quess it's more compressed or something. But it works way faster and the battery life has improved as well... I don't know exactly wich firmware I've got, m.s extended rom or something? But it's way better than the orginal 2002 firmware.

So 2005 doesn't have to be slower. I could be faster for all we know. Nobody has posted any experiences. So you can't say that for sure. If microsoft developers used it to test 2005 on, it has to be running okay. Why would they test it on the mpx200 if it wasn't running normally?

Am0k made it clear the picture was from the site in question and he also made it clear he wouldn't provide the link.

Is there really anything to argue over here?!
*

Maybe there's nothing to argue over.... but I just can't see the problem... I was only asking where he got the picture from... Why is that wrong? don't you think it's a bit overrated?

Can you enlighten me with your motives to edit my post??? I didn't post any url's or requested roms or anything.. I was only asking the original poster where he found the picture that he posted... nothing more nothing less. Is that something illegal, and if so, why wasn't his post deleted??

seems to me you're a bit to eager to edit posts... i was doing nothing wrong, and your rules url doesn't say anything about asking for the source of a picture....
