Reading these posts has sparked my interest in the UK update (got bored of waiting). Is there any light at the end of the tunnel on a release date for the UK update? Seems like the imminent release has been imminent for about 2 months now? |

I have downloaded some PIT files and installed them into the correct folder on my C500 but it doesn't recognise them as template files for caller ID? They're are shown in Smartexplorer as unkown file types. Am i doing something wrong? |

QUOTE(Griff_FFOC @ May 3 2005, 17:06) The C500 should work fine, although as mentioned, ring your operator as they may need to enable roaming on your account, if it isn't already. It may also incur a deposit charge. Thanks for your replies. I have been in contact with my IT dept and they have turned on roaming on my account. |

QUOTE(Disco Stu @ Apr 22 2005, 22:23) Best PPC PE skin for my Jam is 'Lucas Radebe' by uh....Disco Stu On my C500 I'm cycling through Pzee's animated aquarium skins. I love them. Must be a different Pzee who did the Dancing Baby one If I have to name an all-time favourite though it would be Varyoh's 'World' skin on LeMondeDuSkin. http://www.lemondeduskin.com/skins_auteur....2&id_auteur=160 The depth of colour, the simplicity yet functionality... It just looks gorgeous on any Smartphone I have popped along and looked at the skins you have listed and i agree. They're fantastique!! Is there anyway of changing the language back to english? |

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but i see your talking about hme files. Are these the same as the CAB files that can be found on here? I have been over to http://www.lemondeduskin.com/ and noticed that the majority of their homescreens are in the hme file format. Can i safely install these themes on my C500? |

QUOTE(rannoch @ Apr 30 2005, 16:40) I was thinking of either BT200 or BT250, but at carphonewarehouse I was told the BT200 was discontinued, but they recommended the BT250. A couple of questions. Is there a difference between bt250 and bt250v, and how does the vioce dial work. Thanks, Rannoch Hi, I think the only difference is that the "V" vibrates and that it is a rather cool black. If your in the UK then you should take a look at mobilefun.co.uk They have it in stock and i always find them to be reasonably cheap too. As for the voice dial, to be honest i haven't used it on the C500 (only got it a week or two ago) but if you have attached voice dial to your contacts you just press a button on the Jabra and it activates the voice dial feature on the phone. A little hint though, i always find it works better if you record the contact name through the Jabra! Its seems to be more accurate like that. |

QUOTE(hanniballecter @ Apr 28 2005, 13:11) Anyone, I've tried the unlocking programmes around on the net, the one I had most success with was SPVUNLOCK2C. Everything works according to the instructions, BUT at the end of the process (after receiving the numeric code), I am not prompted to input the code!!!! Instead, the phone just starts as usual. Could anyone explain what I'm doing wrong????? Many thanks. I'm not sure how that program works, but i think the Orange site is working again. Click on the quick links in Disco Stu signature and follow the instructions. Just to let you guys know, i also got a very friendly and helpful e-mail from a guy at orange and he attached my personalised unlocking app. I think the key with the e-mail addy's given is to be patient, and that they will get to you in the end. |

QUOTE(mavisdavis @ Apr 27 2005, 21:46) To be honest I have'vt got a clue about football I just thought it would be nice if he had a picture of his son on his swanky new C500. I wasn't even sure if it was the right lad untill I showed him If you a QPR screen in a similar fashion then pm me or msn me some pictures and I'll eventually get round to doing one for ya. But dont hold ya breath as Im a letdown doing them asap Sorry to all those who requested them in the past. I havent forgot Ive got all the images its just time consuming Thanks Mavis, If you have loads of requests on the go i wont bother you. You say you dont know anything about footy, but QPR (My team) could relegate Notts Forest this weekend if we beat them. That means that Notts forest will be playing 2nd division football next season. Which in my opinion is a crying shame  . Thanks anyway bud. |

QUOTE(paddy_mcnulty @ Apr 23 2005, 01:04) Cheers for replies. So from what I understand, if I want to send something to someone and this passkey thing happens, try 0000 or 1234, and likewise the otherpersons if it asks - just make sure we type in the same thing (?), and everything should be fine and then the bluetooths can talk to each other. It's a bit odd to have a have a password on something that there dosen't seem to be an option to change the password on. Or is there? I think its just a question of both phone using the same code. So if you're bonding with you're mates Nokia then when the passkey pops up just make sure you both choose the same passkey I.E 0000. Let us know if you successfully send anything though, as of yet i have only been able to receive 1 file for my friends Nokia 6600 all other phones will not work. Curiously enough when he sent it to me he didn't need to bond the devices, he just just choose the file and sent it??? |
