Hi there,

I had the same problem with my phone, one day the sound just stopped working, backed everything up, and performed a soft reset, followed by a hard reset.

When it was all at factory default there was still no sound (this was the point where I started to panic!)

Got myself onto this site and started searching!!

Came across this thread, and with that in mind I did the following.

inserted the headphone jack in and out for about 30 seconds, (With the battery out) had a wiggle with the paper clip, I then put some air duster through the jack connector, usb, and the inside the battery compartment.

put it all back together and all works fine!!

Thanks for the suggestions, this is a very useful thread, It helped me out, i am sure it will help others..

keep up the good work lads!

Hi all!

(First post)

Been looking throught this site (stumble across it by accident!).

First of all ... Great site! Its good to see so many people helping each other out!

and

Secondly, I have a slight problem...

I have tried to App unlock my MPX200 for about a week, but not having much joy, I have read the sticky on this subject a few times and followed to the letter, It still dont work, Here is the situation, MPX200 on was Orange (its not got a Tmobile sim in now) only about a week old (so i assume its one of the new ones), I have read that you need to connect via GPRS first, but I cant, I hope GRPS has been set up right but I keep getting a "can not connect" message. I can connect vi the USB cable (in the cradle) though.

I have also tried the +44xxxx bit and +44 xxxxx, but just get the same result. (on orange site and on the register app)

I have also emailled orange developers, but had no response.

Sorry I know this has been covered quiet alot, but whatever i try = no luck.. Think this is because I am a total n00b at all of this (first smartphone, last phone was a 3210!)

I would appreciate any help or advice you guys can offer....

Third. Sorry for the long post!
