thanks. I was also looking for the CAB files that can be downloaded from the I mate site that sort out your operator settings. I have registered with the site but can't find them can anyone help point me in the correct direction?

The I mate site also seems to be incredibly slow (10 minutes for some pages to load!) which doesn't help!

still would like to beable to send them,  can see it now, i'll be showing off my new super dooper phone to all my friends, saying how its so much better than their run of the mill nokias when im asked ' can u send picture messages?'  answer -'well...erm....no....'  :cry:

I've changed the O to an o like you said.  I've tried to send a mms and all that comes up is 'Info - unable to send message, your message will remain in the outbox'

I dont have a mini sd card so do you think i dont have enough free memory to send/ recieve?

if you are a registred member of clubimate you could download a cab-file with all bonus software (games, etrust antivirus, etc.) in the SP5 support section.

Kinch - I can only re-iterate what I have said earlier - you can try many things to get this to work, but of you want to do it exact, you have to follow what I did, as it sounds like you have now amended another setting?

Backup anything vital that you need, then run Clear Storage, to do a Full Hard Reset of the Phone.

This will remove the Antivirus app, the imate wallpaper too.  Let me know if you want the wallpaper and xhtml code and i can post it here.

Then download and install the O2 Uk contract settings cab from the imate site.

Go into it, and carefully change the MMSC url to a lowercase letter o.

reboot the phone, and assuming you have more than 4MB free, which you should by then, try sending and receiving MMS...

Give it a go mate, nothing to lose...

I had the same problem..,you need to change the following in MMSC account settings

from: http://mmsc.mms.O2.co.uk:8002
to: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002

Changed O2 to o2 (small o) as per Shahamehr's posts.

I did that then rebooted the phone and can noe send/recieve ok. The file I sent myself was 26k.

Why are you connecting via the WAP Network?
