QUOTE(Tariff @ Mar 26 2006, 12:15) Just a few things i'd like to point out here. Orange have more high value customers than any other network, they don't need to offer tariffs to compete with 3 or flext. think most of your customers are going to leave your network if they found out the tariffs that t-mobile have. and one more thing i' have to point out, how much does it cost on orange gprs/mb? i think t-mobile is offering unlimited for only £7.50/month. |

QUOTE(Syphon Filter @ Mar 6 2006, 19:38) They no longer have their finger on the pulse when it comes to Windows mobile devices, their talk plans are no longer anything special and th customer services has steadily gone down hill to the point of being all but useless. I totally............................................................... AGREE!!! hey orange, are you listening. and by the way, all your customers are not animals. |

QUOTE(ricardo the fish @ Mar 6 2006, 12:45) 8 Gig hard-drive sounds good, but will probably be a huge drain on the battery (as I belive the HDD is in the i300). that's true, the power consumption will be horrible, but you're going to ignore that if the 8 Gig hard-drive  is true. |

haven't you guys noticed anything? the c600 just came out and the c550 is sold out on payg. well they try to dispose first the c550 before introducing the c600. would you think that people are going to buy the c550 if the c600 is already available? you can't sell both of the smartphone together at the same time, tsk tsk tsk.... bad for the business. that's why most of the new products are delayed everytime. "marketing strategy" that's what they prefer to call it. |

i agree with pondrew, the processor of dell axim is the most powerful amongst the pocket pc but the disappointing thing with this device is it's not a phone. |

QUOTE(encece @ Dec 5 2005, 22:53) How the H-E-Double Hockey Sticks...are you guys able to get 360's when I'm still waiting for mine here in the US. And I pre-ordered in July I think. this might cheer you up. got some news in japan that the xbox 360 is going slow in the market. (probably most of them are not patronizing microsoft but sony palystation 3, i guess). so if anyone want an xbox 360 here in uk, fly to japan and definitely there are some left on 160,000 units in japan. |

QUOTE(MiG:uK @ Nov 18 2005, 08:58) i think orange's service is top notch, the other day my headset broke for the c550. i dont know wat the fuss about orange is. good for you, i dunno if you've been a member on modaco for a while or just this sept. if you're always online and viewing for a new posts everyday. i think you can see that there are lots of people moaning about orange, not just me. and is there any ways that you phone orange and try to explain to them that you have a faulty phone and you have orange care and the person that you talk to tells you that they can't change the phone. customer service is not just helping people going on the shops/store but the people who can't go to shops too. what's the use of the call customer service staff who are sitting their a** in the office and earning if they can't help every customer, the customers are the one who are paying them. so, they have to give back the favor to us customers. |

QUOTE(sporkguy @ Dec 12 2005, 13:06) Topic starter: calm down son! I can understand your frustration, as Orange Care can be very sketchy as to what it covers. At the end of the day it all comes down to what sort of CSR you come up against when you call 150. If you get a bad CSR, hang up, try again. i'm done, i'm with o2 for quite a while now. got two contract with o2, and i'm planning to ask for the PAC code of my two numbers from orange and bring them to o2 too, once the contract runs out next year. i'm just tired moaning with o. thanks for the service anyway. |

QUOTE(monkeygadge @ Dec 8 2005, 17:20) Cancel Orange and move to an O2 SIM only online tariff at www.o2.co.uk which may give you more minutes and txts (inc multimedia messaging) than you can handle! You can take your number with you. Then you can buy which ever handset you like. Check out Ebay for some options like mpx220, C500 and others. It'll save you a fortune in the long-term. i very much agree, orange is a real pain. try to upgrade and it's going to cost you fortune. yeah you should leave orange and go to O2, and did i say that o2 staffs are nice and helpful than orange. 8) |

I got a c550 and i'm quite happy with it, but the unexpected happened. the volume control on the side just come off while i was adjusting the volume. so it really doesn't even bother me, because i took the orange care. and i've been paying the orange care for more than a year now. then i phoned the customer service, tell them what happen. the lady says, sorry to say but we can't replace your handset with a new one. you should rang the manufacturer instead to replace your phone. then i was "WHAT THE F*** IS THE USE OF THE F***in ORANGE CARE?!!!". I'VE BEEN PAYING ORANGE CARE SINCE I WAS WITH THEM, AND THEY SAY THEY CAN'T REPLACE A NEW ONE. ORANGE CARE IS USELESS. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS USELESS, IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP THE CUSTOMERS OR MOST OF THE EMPLOYEE OF ORANGE JUST CARE ABOUT THE COMMISSION. then i rang again but this time the retention, told them that i'm going to leave orange co'z the service sucks, the person that i talk with is very nice and he said that he is going to do something with it. and luckily he told me that he can replace the phone, no charge. i mean what do you mean no charge, if i'm paying the insurance. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! CO'Z PROBABLY YOU MIGHT ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL JUMP OVER TO OTHER NETWORK. SHAME, TOO MANY BAD COMMENTS ABOUT YOUR NETWORK AND STAFF ESPECIALLY TO ALL YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF. don't take any orange care co'z no one from orange give a d***. "HEY ORANGE, THERE IS WATCHDOG THAT MIGHT WANT TO WATCH YOU". you may want to take a look at the image that is attached. |

sorry mupwangle. well i'm not acting as a dick or being one. probably, the only that annoys me is people who post a message in a very insensitive way among smartphone users. why can't they just post something like help them with their phones in a nice way. everybody knows that this site is mostly for smartphone and ppc powered by wm. now if you think i'm acting as a dick, think again. would you please read again his title on this post. again peace for everyone 8) |

QUOTE(sponge @ Jul 4 2005, 09:43) I'm sorry, but posts like this serve no purpose other than to fan the flames of an argument. Sure, most of us here will disagree with most of what he says. But as Smartphone users, we should be smarter than that. We should respond to his post in a civilised, polite manner and even go so far as to help him fix any problems with his phone, or suggest ways in which he can get more satisfaction from it. Not call him names. QUOTE(usdiver @ Jul 11 2005, 18:56) I personally agree with what was said about helping others...Since coming to this forum I've asked a few stupid questions... well i do agree with you sponge and usdiver of what you said about helping others, but in case you didn't know it's like that his mocking all the windows smartphone users. as you can see on his title on this thread 10 reasons NOT TO BUY a windows mobile smartphone! I'm tired of this crap! would you think guys that he is asking for some help, or promoting not to buy a windows powered smartphone. in the catchy phrase of his title i think he do wants to challenge us using wm smartphones. the question is does he own a wm smartphone or just trying to make a story? if he owns one, he's not going to moan or complain coz even the first generation of smartphones are great, now if he is going to ask some help probably he can ask it in a better way and not the way he did on this post. thank you. peace everyone. |
