Heh. Such AWESOME AND TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED VIDEOS. Man... Their not that awesome.... My phone plays any flash I put on there. Took me a while to modify the accelerator table to my liking though. It does lag up when there's too much animation, but only at the beginning, and in the end it starts working. Awesome. |

QUOTE(solo4life @ May 21 2005, 14:44) Because Im having lots of trouble!!!I cant even get the pocketsnes screen to come anymore!?!? is it because i saved it to the sd card or what/? help plzz..... :| Thanks in advance! PocketSNES does not work on the MPX-200. I think it has some compatability issues with the ARM chip, and the original resolution was not made for the MPX-200. |

Well... It's not BURNING hot. It's just extremely hot for a phone. The fact that I can even feel something warm in my pocket sometimes is already some kind of sign. |

I finally made the decision to go ahead and switch to 2003 last night, not for system stability or extra applications, but to increase the battery life of my phone which was at around 9 hours, but atleast it's increased to about 44 now. But that's not the problem. Ever since I've updated, I found my phone to become EXTREMELY hot at times. But rather, it wasn't on the bottom half of the phone, where the battery is located, but rather on the top, around the speaker phone. My screen is still doing fine, and so is the phone. But the fact that this phone could melt down in my pocket next to me loins, is a little more than I asked for when I payed a mere 60 dollars for it. Should I be worried, or is there once again some other type of registry tweak that I am able to do |

Hmm... I would have to say that my programming skills are barely even close to par, but this question has been bothering me for some time now. Just as people do with emulators, they seem to port the an original emulators gaming engine to use with their code on the smartphone. What exactly does one have to do to port something to the smartphone. For example, what did the german guy have to do to release the hacked 2003 rom (which I know was probably stolen) but the fact that it's unstable shows that he modified it in some way. Wouldn't it be possible then to go ahead and download (let's just imagine) the 2005 OS installer, then upgrade the 2002 OS with that one? Take notice of my MPX-200. Here's another thing I'd like to add. After looking around for what would seem to be any UPDATE at all for my MPX-200. I stumbled across an upgrade for the Samsung i600 to 2003. Can any developer answer my question as to what exactly is the problem between the coding in a install program for the i600 than one for the MPX-200 or any other phone? |

I tried displaying all files inside betaplayers file explorer, and opened up my WMA from there. It's says "Windows Media Audio Codec not Found 161", and after looking at their forum, it apparently doesn't work with 2002 phones. Here's my question, can I somehow port this codec to my phone? |

Dear god, I am fed up with the search function. I find my answer usually on the 10 page, which mind you, takes a long time to get to. So I'm just going to start a new thread instead After reading thousands of posts, I cannot find a media player so far that plays WMA's other the Windows Media Player installed. ANYTHING would be better than windows media player. Maybe I could install the codec on Betaplayer? MPX-200. You wanna see miracles? You wanna see compression? One of my 128mb SD cards has 400 average of 3 min. songs in WMA format. There is no difference that you can hear at all through headphones when comparing to Mp3 format. What's the trick? Reading thousands and thousands of posts and retaining somewhat useful information from the crap search tool |

Hello again, I've been playing around with the accelerator table. Apparently everything works just as roozbeh says with the exception of a few. Left and Right are actually step forward and backward. Although almost technically the same, at some points it can get confusing, so if you have a chance use reshack and change atleast left to rewind, the right being step forward shouldn't bother you much. I tried experimenting with the "settings" value, but when I pressed the corresponding button, nothing came up. Although, I am using an MPX200, so the screen is relatively small. Can somebody with a bigger screen try changing one of the values to settings, and see if anything comes up? Personally I think something is popping up somewhere, but since my screen is so damn small I can't find it. On another note, if you have downloaded the file at the BEGINNING of this thread, then you need to download menuhack. If you downloaded roozbeh's version 3 posts above, you DO NOT need menuhack. Menuhack will do NOTHING with roozbeh's version with the edited accelerator tables (for some reason). This confused the hell out of me for a very long time. Roozbeh, if you can, throw me that landscape version, and if you could, figure out a way to put a volume control in there. |

Sorry, as I am experienced more on the software and hardware on computers, pinouts and such don't really register as well in my head. Reading that post, somebody said that I am able to cut off something? And in what way is the pinout different? I would take it that a pinout basically explains to you what the poles are, and seeing as how most phones use 3 poles (correct me if I'm wrong) and the pinout shows 3 poles, than I have no idea what the difference is. |

Just out of experimentation today. I do not currently have a Motorola branded or MPX brand in that case, handsfree set. As I have noticed though, technically all phones use a 2.5mm 3 pole adapter plug. So, having a samsung handfree from before, I decided to go ahead and plug that in. When I plug it all the way in, there is sound, however it is so low that you could just say that it's not even there to begin with. However, pull it out about a pole length (.5 mm) and then you can hear something. In this example I was listening to music. After pulling it out one pole, I was able to hear the music of the song very clearly, but the voices/lyrics were just drowned out in the back. Pulled out about another pole. Now I can hear everything nice and clearly, but one move of the plug in or out, and I lose something. Is my headset plug screwed up, or does it simply not accept non-motorola sets as compatibly? If it is screwed up, can I fix it through opening the phone? Damn this is crucial. I would prefer to go ahead and by a 2.5 to 3.5 converter if my input is not screwed up, but I guess I could also spend the extra money to buy a bluetooth wireless handsfree, which would mean I would be able to listen to music wirelessly. Nice thought. |

Point your browsers to either SmartMonitor or SmartBiorhythms for the plugin you want. Enjoy! Dr Fonz Thanks alot. Is this the newest version? |

Once again, another question for MPX-200 users out there. Kodak/generic brands have cards known as xD cards. They seem to be the same size as sd cards, so would they fit and work properly on a cell phone too? |

Hi, finally decided to post I guess. It turns out that Smartmonitors site, smartphinger.co.uk is gone (or maybe not working?) I was just wondering if somebody could provide another link, or another download mirror. Thanks |
