I purchase a bluetooth adapter last week and set up my PC (WinXP sp2) so that I could sync my AudioVox5600 wirelessly. On the first day I was able to get it all set up pretty quickly and had no problems for the rest of the day. But, the next morning when I returned to work I could no longer get it to sync. The phone could not find the PC. So, I deleted the pairings and repaired the two devices. Again the syncing worked fine for the rest of the day. Once again, the next morning, I returned to work and it stopped working again. I've been going through this every day this week and it's starting to drive me insane.

Does anyone have any idea how this can be fixed? What am I missing here?

Thanks.

I'm using Widcomm drivers and this guide helped, but still required a little figuring out.

Anyway, I got the setup working (PC xp2 & Audiovox5600) and everything synced all day just fine. But, the next day I came back into work and it would no longer sync. I went in and removed the pair on both the phone and the PC. Repaired them and it worked again. The next day... didn't work again. Unpaired and repaired the devices and it worked again.. and the loop goes on and on.

Anyone have any pointers for me so that I don't have to keep resetting everything everyday?

wow. you guys are awesome. free unlocking is something I didn't think I'd see for a long time. Now I just hope you are able to get to the Audiovox ROM soon. I'm planning on ordering my new phone this weekend. smile.gif

Great work guys!

I'm waiting for them to get back in stock so I can get one. Think I will get lucky and they will come back with the new Windows Mobile 2005? smile.gif
