Hi People, Been trying for over a week to buy a backup battery for my poor old MPx200, googled all over the UK, mailed several battery suppliers, none of whom have even bothered to reply, it's a Sanyo ML614 which is lithium manganese-dioxide re-chargeable 3V. In desperation I mailed this company in the States who only seem to deliver to the States, WRONG, they not only answered my queery the same day, [today] shipping charges are only $3-00 total price $8-50. Hopefully this will save members loads of time looking for odd batteries. www.batterystore.com/ Max. |

Hi Guys, My 200 was loosing date and time when the main battery was pulled, and I've moved on to a V3x for about 6 months, however my wife needs an upgrade, so out with the 200 for her, it's dead, main battery has 3.8 volts, that should be ok, so I've followed the guide and got to the backup battery, it's a SANYO ML614, went to several watch/jewellers, the've never heard of it. It's not surprising, it's a lithium MANGANESE dioxide re-chargeable 3V, NOT a button cell, all the jewellers said bring the battery in and we can supply an equivalent, I don't recommend putting a non-rechargeable battery in a charging slot. Sanyo has supplied a phone No for a UK distributor, will try this AM and let you know. Max. Nope, no good, unless I want 500 of them, does anyone know a retail outlet in the UK for them, I've seen one in the States but they don't ship abroad, I've also googled around without success. |

Hi, If you're any good with an iron, [ no, not a five iron] cut the cable above the answer button/mic, or just cut the buds off and solder a 3.5 in line stereo socket on it, that way you'll be able to plug any h/phones into it. Get the connector from Maplins. |

Hi, Just put a Sandisk 2 gig card in my mpx200, system info shows card storage as 951.01 MB, so, it looks as though even using 2003, 1gig is the limit. Next step will be to partition it into 2 x 1gigs, and see what happens, unless someone's already tried, and can let me know before I total it. Weeell, that's one part of an answer, my partitioning s/ware doesn't see the card in my reader, [it is quite an old prog], will have to find another way. |

Hi, Flight mode turns the radio OFF [flight mode], so the phone won't communicate and interfere with the aircrafts instrumentation. On my 200 a one second push [maybe two seconds] on the power button accesses the quick menu, then scroll down to loud and press select. |

If it doesn't turn on at all, it's probably broke, but you can try,start>9>1>9>8 gets you through to phone settings, I use ext.lcd style 2 with the contrast set to 0. This lights up the ext.lcd for about 5 secs, but a dab on the on/off button lights it back up, it's not very bright though. |

Yes, well, checking it out didn't do a lot to make me want to rush out and buy one, perhaps it lost a little in translation ! "In new color, the woman in order for you to be able to utilize in the customer who is wider than including, " the champagne silver " of the color tone which is refined was adopted." |

Hi, Can't see how you're short of space with a one gig card, there's enough room for approx, 20 hours of music. Convert all your music to 48 kbits/sec, [no one I know can hear the difference through headphones] that will reduce the size of the files by at least half, then, as the MPX200 will only use .WAV files for ringtones and alerts, trim your selected ringtone to about 10/15 seconds, [not far short of a Meg !], and put the whole lot onto your storage card in a directory called "sounds", create it if there isn't one, then, install a free program called Jeyo Personaliser on the phone, it selects the .WAV files for ringtones and lets windows media player on the phone find the MP3 or WMA music, but if you then go back into settings\sounds the phone then reverts to the bog standard tones, so you have to go back into Jeyo and reset them all again. |

Hi, Had ringtone probs with an E100, providing I stuck with Jeyo Personaliser the ringtones worked OK, the minute I went back into >settings>sounds they all reverted back to the bog standard ones, neccesitating [thats a good word @ 05-30] re-entering Jeyo and re-setting them all. Max. |

Hi, Same as you, but I've an older phone, MPx200, I use windows explorer to drag and drop WMA files onto my SD card via a card reader, less hassle. |
