How does this compare to the Samsung i780? I have a TyTN II and feel like I want a front facing keyboard.

How much did you pay for postage? Because the only option I've got is 15 euros...

It was a bit confusing, all up the online bill came to 50 GBP, but when it got delivered the invoice said 40 GBP and they only charged me 40 GBP smile.gif Not sure how much postage was.

Has anyone received a TyTn II with no TomTom? I looked through both CDs and couldn't find the software. Neither of the CDs were labelled with TomTom either. Bought mine from handtec.co.uk

EDIT: uploaded photo of the Applications CD. No TomTom listed! Also, I noted that the box seal was broken when I received it, I didn't check until later because it was all nicely courier wrapped and I had to rush off... should I send it back?

your notification queue is corrupt / missing your alarms... download ScaryBear Check Notifications and see if ANY of your calendar alarms are there.

If not, as a workaround you can manually run \Windows\calupd.exe and \Windows\calnot.exe, and your alarms should now be listed in ScaryBear.

I don't know of a permanent fix... this is a WM5 issue.

Does anyone know of an application that can save (and possibly restore) call history to a file? Would be handy between hard resets etc.

Paid on 31 Aug, but didn't receive it until now. If nothing comes tomorrow, will ask for a refund rom "fastmemoryman". "fastmemoryman"?????? = "slowmemoryman"

storm, did you get your memory card? 15 business days have passed, no memory card for me. I know when things aren't coming - it does NOT take 15 business days for something to come to central London...... emailed him asking for exact shipping date and a refund if it still hasn't been shipped.

I ordered a smaller 1GB card from mobymemory last week just to tide me over...

Oddly enough when I pull the card out without closing all the files, and I reinsert the card, subsequent SAVEs will corrupt the file...

If I pull out the card while the phone is on, File Explorer and Excel etc still think the card is there and I can browse it! Just not open any files.... almost like it's cached the file listing or something.

Annoying! Almost lost an important file.

I got my insurance for 5.99 per month when I bought my VarioII, although strangely enough the website no longer lists insurance as an option when buying the VarioII! Maybe they've temporarily disabled it for today... anyway I don't see the monthly PRICE of the insurance listed anywhere on the documents I've received from T-Mo or Fonesafe... if they do a dodgey and raise the price from 5.99 I'm cancelling it!

I wonder why telesales is cheaper than web sales? Web sales is 119.99 for the phone, and 22.50 / month (Flext 20 + WnW). Earlier in this thread, telesales was said to be 89.99 for the phone?

I am on the verge of ordering it online - but couldn't find anywhere to add WnWP to the Flext plan - I can only add the 7.50 WnW. Do you think I can just go with Flext and call them up when I receive the phone to activate WnWP? If I can't, I could always return the phone under the 7 day cooling off period.

Went to the Oxford St store today, no stock - and the lady said the 5 pound discount was telesales only? Seems like the luck of the draw whether the phone salesman/woman knows about the latest discounts.

Anyhoo, that's my third attempt at getting a Vario II, maybe a higher power is telling me not to buy it unsure.gif
