Hi, I've tried everything on the forum here, and also that which Vodafone has informed me of, but I still cannot seem to get GPRS/E-mail to work directly on my SPV C500. I have saved various settings within the Messaging Set Up, and also within the Data Connections set ups, but to no avail. I'm on Vodafone. I can send MMS messages/pictures without problems. But no matter what I set up, it seems I always get the message "Unable to connect. Verify you have network coverage". It says "Connecting" the "G" appears over the antenna symbol (I have the G in the box normally as well) , then says "Finished" then I get the Unable to Connect message. I specifically need to know what I have to have in the Messaging Settings pages to be able to get email downloaded from my server directly into my Outlook Email on my C500. Can anyone provide a definitive answer? I'm pretty sure I've got GPRS set up right in the Data Connections (otherwise the MMS wouldn't work?) I've also checked with Vodafone that I have GPRS/MMS and APN all enabled and they confirmed I have. Please help - been struggling with this for more than a week!!! I need someone who's on Vodafone with a C500 who's able to download their emails direct from their email server to help!! Finally, when I go into Outlook Email on my C500, it doesn't have a SEND/RECEIVE option I can highlight (it's greyed out). I'd also like to be able to access MSN Messenger from this phone too... please help... I know I'm asking a lot! A. |

I've got all this set up, but when I try and set up to be able to download my email direct to my phone from my server, I just get "Unable to connect, verify you have network coverage." The "G" comes on (over the antenna symbol) as it makes the connection, but then that message appears. I checked with Vodafone and I have MMS and GPRS set up on my account. Any ideas? A |

Hi, Due to a problem with my PC, I lost some emails from my inbox. However, they are still on my smartphone, but when I sync the mails from the smartphone are not "brought" into the Outlook on the PC. I tried moving the mails to a different folder on the phone, and back again, etc., and syncing in between and after, but to no avail. Does Activesync only "sync" one way, from Outlook on your PC to the phone? Thanks. |
