Sounds like your radio is just flat out dying. This happened to my friend just the other day.. First 3g wouldn't work, then slowly GSM deteriorated. You may have to bite the bullet and send it back.

aww crap sad.gif was hoping it wouldnt come to that. time to flash back to the stock rom then i guess blink.gif

thanks for the info tho biggrin.gif

be interested to hear from others too with suggestions as would prefer not to send back.. maybe it could be a SIM card issue?

hi all

seem to have a problem with my vario 3... i cant recieve incoming calls unless ive made an outgoing call... and i always have to make an outgoing call twice to get it to connect, as it drops the call first time round... i have tried calling myself from a landline, and the first attempt always results in "this number is not avaialble", try again, works fine... leave it 30 secs, and the same problem

been having this prob for a month now, have tried all UK 6.0 radios, and even upgraded to 6.1 and tried UK 6.1 radios... the only way i have resolved this is too set my network type to GSM rather than Auto, which has fixed the calling issue (and boosted reception) but i've lost 3g so have really slow internet sad.gif

any suggestions or anyone else had this?

edit: cant see how this is related, but mobilepanel no longer works either, but will save that for another thread

was talking to a tmob techy guy last friday as have been having issues with my vario3 for a while. he said he had just upgraded his vario 3 to 6.1 with an official rom, told me where to look and was shocked when he couldnt find the link, saying the link tmob had (from tmob to htc site), was removed... sooo, if that were true, then they pulled it to fix a bug, so heres hoping we get it soon!!!

Hi all,

Bit of an odd one, but i keep pressing the internal hard "send" button too early when using the keyboard (chubby thumb rolleyes.gif ) and was wondering if there is a way to disable these buttons and just use the onscreen send?

thanks

paul

really like the look of the "multi page" of CA4 Paul, as per our conversations in other threads, the speed should be big smile.gif

You could move the 'green box' down below your big box, and make your big box wider, that might give you a bigger display without the decimal point problem?

BTW, remember when editing skins you don't have to keep restarting cameraware. You can edit the XML via your PC or whatever, then press '7' when cameraware is disconnected to reload the skin, and 8/9 to populate the boxes.

ah-ha, only just seen this reply, going to have another go tonight and re-jig it around

Attached File  PPCWM5_240x320_night_Skin.XML ( 11.09K ) Number of downloads: 20

Right-o, been messing round with the Cameraware skins to remove the direction and heading pane as personally i found I did not need them and wanted the speed to be larger

The attached files remove these options for any, non-vga PPC with WM5...

Its not perfect but close, only issue is as the speed is relayed with a decimal point, as the figures rise, sometimes they go out of the box, so Paul, is there a way to remove the decimal place? This way the speed could be even larger which would be better

Hope this can be of use to some smile.gif

Here's an updated EXE, all it changes is the handling of the skin visibility, so veef13 - it should fix your issue smile.gif Drop the EXE into the CamerAware directory on the device.
