Couldn't find anything on here or the orange website, but have just received a replacement TYTNII and it has an Orange 6.1 ROM on it. How long has this been available? |

There are some CABS available to turn off the threaded SMS do a search on TLR's original Rom thread.... Forwarding a message.... yeah that is a real PITA. I did it once - but haven't been able to figure it out again.. my workaround was to copy and paste the txt and send it on..... Anyone got a better answer...? SF I've just had a play and if you press Up whilst viewing the conversation, you can select a message and then forward/delete from there. To do the same with the touch screen you have to tap the sender, press OK to get rid of the contact's details and then the message is selected. How badly designed is that. if you could just tap the message or at least the icon next to it to select a message, it would be far more user friendly. And an easy option to turn it off wouldn't go amiss. |

This worked on my HP Journada 548 on the original Pocket PC operating system back in 2000/1(?). It was the easiest way to run the program that turned the screen to landscape mode and back. ..so its been there from the start. |

I have installed Worms World Party on my phone and having some problems playing it. I am unable to set up the button mappings for Fire, Jump, Double Jump, every thing else works fine. Has anybody else played this game on this mobile? Also it crashes on exit which is abit weird. Works fine on mine however if the sd card was nearly full (i installed it to SD) it would work once and then the keys wouldn't work for each subsequent game. it would also lose my progress. check you have enough free space on SD and the phone memory. |

Yes. Show pictures is turned on. I just seem to be getting the old WAP 1.0 version of the page made for text only wap browsers. Just wondering if anyone knew if it was to do with the connection I use or maybe the browser agent string. I have tried it just through APN orangeinternet and through the APN orangewap with a WAP proxy and still get the same. |

Does anyone have the address for Orange World? I have looked around and tried http://pda.orange.co.uk http://mobile.orange.co.uk http://orange.multimedia and all i am getting is a text based version of the page. I have an M3100 and I used to get a page with pictures. Or are there other settings I should set up and then one of the above addresses will work and give me the technicolor version? |

I had the problem with vista (I'm running 64bit) where the storage card wouldn't show in WMP (on the PC) so I could sync my DRMed Just found that if you go to Settings, Connections, USB to PC (on the PocketPC) and turn off the advanced network functionality, the storage card is available again. Guess its a problem in the TCP style sync driver that isn't in the old PPP style driver. This is with an Orange SPV M3100. Let me know whether it works for you! |

I have just got Vista and Windows Media Player will only show the phone's (Orange M3100 - ROM 1.23.61.4) internal storage - can't see the 2GB memory card. Anyone else had this problem or know how to fix this? It shows up fine in explorer but I want to copy DRM music across. It worked in XP. Cheers Edit: oh and i have the latest Windows Mobile Device Center (well the one that windows update supplies) |

You do not need to reformat your card. Just delete the MSMETADATA folder on the storage card and then run the update library option on your PPC. It'll work again... for a while |

Have finally got around to signing up so I can tell you my workaround for this problem which allows you to use WMP 10 to sync (therefore with licences), but it transfers very slowly. 1. First, don't have any other pocket pc/smartphone plugged in as this will randomly stop the transfer. 2. Connect to activesync via bluetooth. 3. When the sync has completed and the phone stays connected via bluetooth, plug in the USB cable as well. 4. Open WMP and enjoy syncing. That's it. I'm guessing it's transfering via bluetooth but the insertion of the USB cable adds the phone's storage areas to WMP. |
