Does it have an alloy shell, or is it plastic like the MPX200? |

It has to be said, the GB version of GTA was shite.
I think i would far prefer a port of the PC version of GTA if it was going to happen at all. |

So what is the point in having that 10MB free memory reserved for storage??? seems a little pointless to me. |

Did you try switching your phone off? if so, when it booted back up did you notcie that those files (DoomSPV) had been lost?
I have tried every location on the phone i can think of to store files and they either (2MB file and 1.3MB available Flash) dont fit or are lost when the phone is swtiched on. This makes the storage memory pretty pointless unless it is for short term data storage. |

I have had my MPx200 for 5 days now and I am warming to it quite quickly. It probably helps being an owner of a Pocket PC.
There is one thing that is confusing me a little, Storage (RAM) and Flash Storage. As I’m sure most of you who own an MPx200 are aware, orange bundle it with IA System Information. Yesterday I installed Snails, but I also had Slurp, Interstellar Flames and Lemonade Tycoon installed. I had to remove Interstellar Flames in order for Snails to install. This was dues to a lack of storage space. So I opened IA System Information and had a look at the Storage space available on the device. It said there was 10MB free. How could that be if snails couldn’t install. I then went to the next screen (Flash) and it said there was less than a MB free. So I’m thinking to my self, 'It must install apps to flash memory'. Well, this has left me quite confused. I expected it to be similar to the PocketPC in terms of storage. As it stands, IA System Information reports the following:- Memory Total 22.1/28.4 Program 12.0/17.8 Storage 10.1/10.6 Flash Internal 1.4/10.4 1. Are the Internal Flash and Storage separate? 2. Can I install applications to the 'Storage' or does it have to be installed to 'Internal Flash'? |

I went into one of my local stores today in my lunch hour, and as you could have guessed they werent any help, but i did leanr something useful. O2 and Vodafone are also doing this phone... Is this true. I hope so, i prefer the O2 pricing over Orange, specially cross network. |

Dont need Bluetooth (Would be a bonus though, since im planning on purchasing a new iPAQ h2210, which has Bluetooth to replace my old h3630) or a Camera.
But i have to agree, SmartPhone2003 would deffinately make this phone more attractive. I spose im relying on orange to release a 2003 installer in much the same way Compaq did with Microsoft PocketPC 2002 because the release of the 3630 was just shy of the release of the new PPC OS. I guess i should probably wait for the E200 but i prefer the loog of the Moto MPx200. and so i live in hope for an update. i am morethan willing to pay for the update... before it starts more heated disussion on the topic of updating to SmartPhone 2003. |

It wasnt Orange that cut MSN Messenger off was it?
I thought it was Microsoft who cut messenger off at their servers and as yet havent released a compatable build for the SmartPhone. Incase you hadnt noticed Microsoft have done the same with the PocketPC version of Messenger and that built for the PC also. I agree with you though, Microsoft should have released a new and compatible version of MSN Messenger for the SmartPhone. But i dont have a SmartPhone yet and can live with the service being down. |

It may be a fair point to say that for the time it will take microsoft have the patch released, it isnt worth their while for orange or even in their interest to edit that 'Did you know' section of the web page.
but on the other hand, they shouldnt take the service down until they had all bases covered. but then on the other hand, you dont pay for the messenger service and it is provided as is with no guarentees. and we could go on forever! |
