It's really really easy..

Grab the album art, name the picture "folder.jpg" and put it in the same
folder as your album mp3:s. Update your library in the phone. Done!

I have a Qteck 8300/iMate SP5m and need a FTP-app to send my phone pics to my web server for blogging.

Please advice, thanks!

Not much of a tweak but it is my first registry edit I’ve done that works………. Kind of chuffed with myself.

8)

To change whats displayed as “No upcoming appointments”  to something of your choice then go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, System, State, Appointments, HomeScreen and edit the ‘subject’ string.  Change the value to whatever you want displayed.  The good thing about it is that as soon as an appointment is added or comes up then it returns to its default value to keep you informed.

I don’t really use my calendar so is no real problem for me.

If somebody else has already posted this elsewhere then don’t tell me will you, it is Christmas time afer all, let me wallow in my glory!!!!

This might be a little overkill if you don't use your calendar extensively, but Facade is an amazing Calendar, Task, and Application Lancher plugin.  There is a setting to turn off the No Appointments text.  I am unable to live without Facade.

Thanks! I'm using Facade now too.

The following code could be added to the Calendar plugin to hide the entire plugin when no event exists.
CODE
<format state="noevent" visible="false"/>

Here is a link to the MSDN: Customizing the Microsoft Smartphone 2002 Home Screen which provides information on the standard Microsoft plugins.

The MSDN site is quite massive, so i'll ask before i start searching:

The tag was already in the code of
the "alldayevent" part, but not for the calendar. If i try to use it there too, it wont
work.

So, basically.. is there different tags for "alldayevent" and "calendar"?

What i try is this:

And the " No upcoming appointments " still shows up?

Thankful for your help!

Is there anyone who knows if it's possible to change the appointment text on the calendar on homescreen. When i don't have any appointments, there's a text now
saying " No upcoming appointments "

Where can i change that text to my own?

Thankful for help..

If you add a width to the plugin of 120
so where the height is, try putting width="120"

Let me know if that works?
*

Yes!! Setting width to it worked.. Thanks!

Very glad to hear it  tongue.gif
And thats a great looking homescreen! Being your first aswell is awesome
One thing I can see from the screenshot is that its not displaying the MMS's. I think youve forgotten ?
Keep it up mate, Cheers  wink.gif

Thanks! biggrin.gif

No, i used the exact same code as you:

SMS: MMS:

I get that in all my homescreens i try, don't know why?

Could you also please tell me if there's a possibility to maximize the text for
the calendar appointments. So there's a max number of letters, to fit the screen
area better.. If i use longer text it will leave the box and on to the face.

Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the excellent guide! And thanks to your guide, i've just
created my very first homescreen ever.. smile.gif

Kinda simple, but i added the calender thingy to it.

As soon as i've tried it out and checked for errors, i'll drop it in the DL section.

Anyway, this is Mandy!

I live in Denmark but I am thinking about buying the
QTEK 8310 in Sweden because it is much cheaper there.
But has anyone here changed the language settings
from Swedish to Danish ?

I know the it is possible to change language in WM5.
But does the Swedish version also include Danish ?

Thanx in advance,

John  smile.gif
