I've installed it on my E200 (Unlocked), and it looks good. I had to set the homscreen manually though, and WMP hasn't been changed.

I've just been informed by Orange Data Support that it will NOT be possible to connect a PocketPC to the E200's GPRS connection using Bluetooth.  They have also told me that there are no plans to implement a workaround.

I feel that this coupled with the 4-way joystick problem is seriously bad news for the E200.  I'm considering returning mine under the 14-day returns policy.

In spite of the lack of bluetooth, older operating system and lack of integrated camera, is the MPX-200 a better proposition? Lots of people seem to be raving about it.  What does everyone else think?

Someone better sort this out, it's unbelieveably poor. And I've just sold my SPV, so no going back.... sad.gif

Apparently, the E200 works with ppc 2002, so it's a 2003 problem. I'm *very* annoyed about this (Having just bought an ipaq 5550 in anticipation of getting a BT Smartphone).

Ive got mine working from the laptop, but it see's the dun profile.

Its the Ipaq 2210 that i cannot connect. It sees the phone, and connects via BT, but will not dial !!!

The guys at 156, said to try removing the at from the beginning of the string and adding a # to the end as below:

+CGDCONT=1,"IP","orangeinternet","",0,0#

But still no joy. I am getting arsed with it now !

I'm having no joy with my iPaq 5550 either. I'm getting really annoyed about this, BT from my ppc was one of the main reasons I bought an E200.

I have one of these units. It's an Orange SPV E200, but network unlocked. Was cost effective for me as it's a tax write off and it's going on a Virgin tarrif.

Unbelieveably, it doesn't come with a cradle, just a USB sync lead!

Possibly. The jury is out until someone gets more data, or manages to replicate then fix the problem. If you feel like working this out, remember to only change one thing at a time!

I did the keyboard update earlier, still no go with wmp9. Just did over the air unlock, and wmp9 works!

Well, I've just installed the keyboard update, made no difference WMP9. And the O unlock site is down so I'm stuck with a locked SPV, d'oh!

It's just a phone - not worth risking your life over.

"This is London, not the Lebabnon", says the movie. You aren't going to get killed chasing a mugger. Even if you chase for 30 seconds and give up, you'll have given them a scare that might just stop them from mugging someone else. If you make yourself an easy target, then you are only contributing to the problem.

Honestly, people these days are so weak. We used to live in caves and kill our own food, protecting our own from other predators and people. Now people panic if you sit next to them on a bus.

QUOTE
you then get arrested for GBH and sent to jail or made to pay the scum damages
What a load of misguided tripe! Thieves often carry weapons, and use them when threatened. If someone is directly threatening you, fight back, but otherwise you're taking a huge risk. Is your life really worth less than a mobile phone???

Nah. You don't hang about and get caught. Chances are that the thief has prior convictions and is really unlikely to want to go to the police. Even if they do, the police won't put any effort into finding you.
