looks very nice, i've just come to the end of my contract with my VOX, and for the first time ever i dont really want to upgrade, as the form factor of it suits me so well, things could well have changed now though. ;-) D |

got a vox from orange, and it wont let me turn off the answerphone. i go to settings > phone > call forwarding , and try to turn them off there, the phone tells me its "uploading settings to the network", but it does no good. *is* it possible to turn them off?, am i in the right place on the phone? |

I've noticed that Google Maps have launched a version for Win Mobile devices, but it runs based on an internet connection. I@m trying to find software that would make use of a static map. Mapopolis seem to be very near to what I want, but I can't seem to find the option for post-code searching (I only need the map for London) and I don't want to buy it if it doesn't have that. Are there any other static maps apps out there, possibly freeware, that allow for postcode searching? Cheers! pocket streets? used to be here www.microsoft.com/mappoint/pocketstreets/default.mspx not sure if it still exists or not (might have an old install for the spv c550 around (htc tornado was it?) |

Is there any way to hide my caller id information for the next call only? I would like to be able to hide caller id for one call only without having to go through the trouble of turning it off, making the call, then turning it back on. is this a number your dialling or a number in your phone book? if so normally (on a land line at least) you can put 141 before the number to hide your id - it *should work* for mobiles as well. i think its *65 if your in the USA, 141 is for the UK, dont know abut the rest of the world |

This is VERY annoying....Any ideas? i got this a lot on my old c550, tom tom very rarly exited properly and so didnt put the settings back for the delay to turn of the screen - maybe 1 time in 20 it actually worked. not a lot of use to you, but hey at least know you know your not alone ;-) just picked up my 650 this week - not had chance to install tom tom yet - nice to know the same bug is still there ;-) |
