I'm trying to install this but keep getting an error message telling me the phone cant verify the digital signature of the software. Anyone else had this problem?

Cheers,
Tim.

yeah true...but...the sub folders arnt stored on the phone......

if all you want to do is back 'em up on ur pc use spstudio....if u want 'em as text files use spstudio

if u want them all in outlook synced everytime you connect use jeyo...its all personal prefernce....

i used both n like i said, found sp much better for what i needed!
*

Do you have a link for sp studio?

Thanks,
Tim.

Tiscali currently offer free onspeed software (or their own version) to dialup subscribers - maybe you could apply this to your mobile device?

Not had problems myself - if I do the phone will go back to orange..

Can you set this phone up to vibrate and make a sound when a sms arrives.

If so, how?

Thanks in advance.

The standard options are for one or the other and I'm not aware of any way to over-ride that sad.gif

You should definately have received the adapter.

My first 550 was delivered without - after 5 weeks of ringing them to chase I gave up, sent it back for a refund and bought another!

The guy on the phone explained that the Orange warranty period is 6 mths and the manufacturers' is 12 month (although the phone needs to be sent to HTC).

Your contract is with the shop, not the manufacturer so they would be liable for the 12 months.

anyone help out

i have the bt-77 gps receiver
*

with the receiver turned on, first make surt bt is turnwed on on the phone, then from the bt 'on' screen select menu - devices - menu - new. the phone should find the device and may ank for a passcode - usually 0000. I've seen comments about having to set an outgoing port manually but mine set up an incoming port automatically which works fine.

so long as the fault is nothing to do with you unlocking it, it is none of their business.

They won't even know you have unlocked in my experience.

When I spoke to them about unlocking my own phone they told me it was perfectly ok so don't worry!

kept my fingers crossed about the joystick but it stopped responding on me today - a bit of vigorous waggling got it working again. Time for the spray duster, methinks.

I'm sure there was an earlier thread about this - someone found that once you remove the logo there's clear plastic underneath - I wouldn't bother!

Don't suppose there's a volume control in there somewhere?

if you go for a cheap unit from hk with just a few pre-set frequencies bear in mind that they may clash with local radio stations.........

people have rescued their battery by removing it from the phone and connecting a voltage direct to the battery but its at your own risk and your milage may vary

Mine ran to flat a couple of days ago but I just plugged the charger in and it's been right as rain since. maybe just lucky?

I've done that thanks but everything else, from moving between sms folders to managing photos seems to produce clicks or tones at each press of a button!
