Sitting Duck, Did you ever solve your MMS problems with O2. I've recently moved to a SIM-only contract with O2 and have struggled to set up my M600 to send and receive MMS messaged. Cheers, Iain |

I'm currently having problems with Tomtom Navigator 5.21 on my M600 and thought I'd piggyback onto this thread (sorry herbster). I've had TT loaded for a while, but the last time I used it in anger, it was very slow to refresh the route but now it freezes 2-3 seconds after starting the application. I've seen discussion elsewhere talking about issues they've had with Activesync. I had upgraded (!!) to 4.5 earlier in the year but have rolled it back to the 4.1 it came with but will the same results. My next step is to reformat my SD card and start from scratch with the to see if it has any impact. If there is any other help and advice out there, I'd be most appreicative for a steer before my wife gets fed up with my tantrums! Many thanks, Iain |

QUOTE(Dr_StrangeTrick @ Sep 23 2005, 19:28) Hi there, I mentioned a while ago about using a bitmap and defining opposite coordinates and using this as a form of moving map. At the moment there is absolutely nothing on the SmartPhone for European users to provide 'Off Road' navigation. There is a product in the states called Outdoor Navigator but they only have US maps. Its relatively easy to scan or download ordinance survey maps from the web so we could use one of these, specify the coordinates for opposing corners and hey presto walkers, mountain bikers, off road'ers, etc can all take benefit from this. I've downloaded Outdoor Navigator (for a trial period) but cannot see any obvious way to import other maps. I've have OS mapping software, so producing maps in bmp/gif/tif etc is not a problem, outputting to .ONM format is! I'm presuming that the 'defining opposite coordinates' part is done on the phone part of the application, as the PC part seems simply to be a map loader. |
