Okay...I switched back to the mpx200 after serveral months on the SDA...when I charged it up (MPX) the date and time had been reset. I corrected the date/time and later powered off the phone. When I turned it back on the alarm was going off and like ten alarms were listed on the screen. In the year and half of having this phone I've never experienced this. Now, every time I power it off I get the alarms...and when the battery is discharged and off for a while I have to reset the date/time. Any suggestions or knowledge what's causing this?

Peace.

Go to your service provider, ask them if you can put a new sim in your phone. if it works you can buy the replacement sim. you might be able to call into your customer service and ask them to credit the amt of the replacement sim.

OKAY!!!! I was looking at www.theunwired.net and found that with the phone off, pressing the Blue key with the power key will give the option for the hard reset. Awarner, is that what you meant by doing the hard reset?

Man, I'm so stoked that it's working again!

No sim or SD in phone. Still won't do a hard reset. Tried putting the sim back in to see if that would help...didn't.

When I turn it on it won't let me do the hard reset (Blue action key + the power key). The power button will not repsond. The only way to get the phone off is to take out the battery. This really stinks.

Well, since I did the hard reset (and master clear) I was in the process of reloading the task mgr and the file mgr to the phone. While it was loading the software it was stuck looping the loading (spinning) image on the screen. I let it sit for a while and that was all it did. I unplugged the usb cable, turned off the phone and turned it back on, and all I get is the HelloMoto splash screen.

I bought my phone new from a company on eBay. They didn't send an invoice. Moto said that I need a receipt of purchase to show that it is a new phone including the IMEI. Have any of y'all had to send a phone to Moto? Did you need the receipt? I purchased it in Aug of .05 so it's still under the one year warranty....

had to do a hard reset to wipe so bogus data showing up on the home screen. in doing that, i lost the mms function. called moto and they said the software is on the install cd---not true, or at least i can't find it. y'all have any ideas on how to get it back?

After looking at some of the older posts re: this issue, I looked at the CD that came with the phone--no MMS software on it. I actually opened the folder in My Computer to see if it was available to install but just not listed...no luck. So...any one know what I can do to get this?

well, there is the rocker switch on the left side that controls the earpiece volume. Have you tried adjusting that? Just my initial thought...

I bought my MPx200 new from a company selling on eBay. The 200 is supposed to have speakerphone but when I make a call and hit menu there is no option for speakerphone. Any clues?

within 10 seconds. I find it frustrating. I'd really like to be able to use it. I've noticed sometimes when i'm using IE that the log on screen comes up as well.

I have T-Mobile service. Try to log on to Messenger and get a T-Mobile Log On Screen. It asks for Username, Password, Domain. T-Mo tech said that the GPRS settings were correct on my phone and he didn't know why I was getting that box and he couldn't help me. Any one have any solutions? If anyone else has T-Mo and uses this phone: can you use MSN?
