hello everybody. long time no see. where have you been?
anyway, i have a problem. a few weeks ago i could recieve all of the photo messages i could want. now when i recieve a photo message, my phone tells me that i cant recieve it, with the following message "There is not enough free space for message downloading. Please free up some space and try again."
now the thing is, i have deleted loads of pictures, erased all my messages, and run the space maker utility which tells me that i have 3.13mb free, surely enough to recieve a 50kb message. Is there like a recycle bin or something?

hello everyone. i have an spv c550. since windows media player sync doesnt work i have been using active sync to trasnfer music files to my mini sd card. the other day active sync crashed while in the middle of a transfer. since then i am told that there is 128mb total space, but only 80mb available. this is when there is nothing on it. is there a way to format the card or anything?

this is probably a silly question but i have spent ages trying for myself and i just cant work it out. when i leave my phone on an application and leave it untouched for x amount of time it automatically locks itself, requiring a digit password to unlock. is there a way to disable this? i want to have voice notes recording indefinately and everytime it locks itself it stops recording. any ideas?
thanks

hi guys. i have a problem. ever since i got my c550 (about 6 months ago) i have not been able to sync music through windows media player. active sync works fine and i can move pictures back and forth through the smartphone browser. my gf has the c500 which is able to sync through wmp perfectly. for the last 6 months i have been transfering my sd card into her phone to upload music then swapping them back over. this is clearly not how it is supposed to happen and now that i have discovered this website its about time that i sought help. wmp recognises my phone and begins to sync. it gets to about 7% of the first song then freezes for a bit, followed by 'aborted files (5 files)'. please help.

hi guys. does anyone have a prog to unlock the spv c550? i have downloaded one but it tells me that it has detected a siffer or something. i think that my bootloader is a later version than the one that the prog was designed around. if anyone has anything please post a link, thank you.

ps. if we are not supposed to ask things like this here i apologise. biggrin.gif

hi guys. i have spent the last 2 hours trying to get into the boot loader for the orange spv c550. i have searched on the net and i get the same instructions. 'press and hold the record button while turning on the phone. a few seconds after the phone turns on let go of the record button and it will go to the 3 colour canary screen.' i assume that the record button is the internet explorer button. i have also tried the camera button. every time i try it i just boot normally and get to the sim password screen. i have also tried holding the 'record' button while turning the phone off and turning it back on with the button still held. this is not happenning. what am i doing wrong????
